It's all about characters getting comfortable with each other while being total goobers and showing love. It's shameless, sure, but it's fun! "Be still!" Nerdanel ordered for what might have been the hundredth time in the past hour. Her sketchpad was in her lap, propped up against her knees as she worked.

Somehow, she had convinced her father's pupil to leave the forge for an hour or two and join her for lunch. It had taken half the morning to convince him to take a break, but in the end, her logical assertion that he had to eat, and fueling his body would help him work, finally won out. Either that, or he had tired of her gentle pestering, either way, he had assented to the picnic. She had an ulterior motive though, she wanted him to be the subject of her next piece, and she needed a few minutes to sketch, to get a good picture of his features. He had an interesting face, and there was something beneath the surface that she was not entirely sure she could capture, but Nerdanel had never shied away from a challenge, and the opportunity to try was too thrilling to pass up!

She tilting her head to the side a little, she studied him with an intense gaze. It was the eyes that were the trouble. They were far too lively and intriguing, and had so much life to them. How could she show that?

Of course, it did not help that he seemed to find it impossible to stay even a bit still! His gaze kept moving off to the distance, making it harder to sketch those engaging eyes. With a sigh, she reached out and turned his face back towards her again. A bold gesture, but when it came to her work, she did not worry about such things.

"You are impossible." She declared, throwing up her hands, though she could not help but laugh merrily. "I have never known a more frustrating subject."
