"You've got me all wrong," she tutted, swatting his hand away. After that she took pity on him, swinging off so she wasn't sitting on him any longer. "I suppose I'd have to find a date myself, with you going with Ren and all, but if it doesn't work out we can ditch them and do what we usually do."

Ruin everyone else's night, if possible. Showing up with different dates might throw everyone off anyways, make them think they were... conforming or something.

"I said I'd go with you, Phasma. I don't see why I can't just go with you." He sighs and starfishes on the bed, pouting. Still, he gives her a soft smile, shaking his head. "But fine, fine, if that's what you want, I'll do it." Because he usually ends up doing what she wants. "But I'm brinin' something to spike the punch." But not drinking any of it--just watching the chaos.

"Oh, I don't know," she laughed. "I think I'm rather attached to the thought of you and Ren now. You'll be so handsome together."

She was teasing him for a reaction, but when she actually did think about it... Hux already cut a clean figure, but Ren? Seeing him in anything resembling formal ware was hilariously charming. With Hux at his side, it would really be something.

"And of course you are, just don't drain the bottle." They could indulge afterwards.

"He's entirely too lanky and he has a nose like a beak." He scrunches up his nose, looking disgusted, but really Hux finds him stupidly attractive. Doesn't mean his personality is any good, though.

"Fine fine--if I go with him, I only have to go to the dance, then it's us after. Is that a fair compromise?" He looks up at her, brushing a hand up through her hair as best he can from his angle, trying to give her puppy eyes, which he is very bad at.
