The Body Heat Meme
  1. Post with your character! They're now stuck in a very cold place of your choice. It can be anything, such as a freezing chamber, a cavern or a small cabin in the midst of a blizzard. The choice is up to you.
  2. Comment around! Now your character has some company in this bone-chilling environment. The two of them share two things in common: clothes completely unfitting for this weather (be they summer clothes or even lingerie) and a blanket.
  3. A blanket? Yes, just one warm blanket and no other ways to escape the cold. The two of them will have to share it in order to stay alive in this weather. Don't worry, you're sure to find a common language in this terrible situation!
  4. So, uh, have fun, I suppose. Try to not freeze to death!
  5. Protip: friction and body heat are both excellent ways to fend off cold.

Just sneak it into his pack and hope he doesn't notice until later?

[Frodo starts a little against his shoulder, Sam's question waking him some]

Hm? [he seems to have forgotten what he was going to say, lazily thinking it over and then;] Sorry, what was I saying?

[he's leaned back against Sam, drifting off]

I know you will, Sam. You always do. Thank you.

He'll find it eventually

[Sam has half a mind to press, and try to find out what Frodo had been saying, but it's clear that that's going to be a losing battle. Frodo is nearly asleep already, and Sam would be the first one to point out just how much he needs the rest.

He sighs, half accepting and half almost content, as Frodo leans back against him, settling himself back against the tree. Frodo has leaned in against his side, and while Sam wouldn't dare take the liberty of putting his arm around his master, his arm has somehow ended up behind Frodo's back, a solid, warm presence between the hobbit and the cold ground.

He allows himself to smile softly at Frodo's faith in him, more determined than ever not to break that trust, and he leans his head back, looking around the clearing for any sign of trouble. There's nothing, no sound but the wind whispering in the trees, and it's not long before Sam's eyes fall closed of their own accord.]
