The course of love often doesn't run smooth. This is especially so as the years go by. Still, being together for a long time has its benefits...

1. BEGINNING

1. First Meeting - How did it go? Was it love at first sight, friendship, or hate? Maybe you didn't even
2. Realization - You just realized something. You're in love with this person. Oh, great, does this mean you're going to have...
3. Jealousy - How dare that other person look at the person you love! Of course, you're not officially together, but still!
4. Confession - Tell them how you feel. Use chocolates, messages on scoreboards, or carrier pigeons. Make sure they know somehow.
5. First Date - Whether it's to the movies or to the moon, you need to make an impression.
6. First Time - Sex can be even better when it's the first time with someone you care for.
7. Infatuation - You're dating this person, and they're absolute amazing.
 

2. MIDDLE

1. Grown Comfortable - Now you don't have to always save face in front of this person to look perfect. Go ahead, don't shave for a few days. Burp if you need to.
2. Meet the Family - You've been together long enough that you need to meet the parents. Or the siblings. Or the family dog.
3. Spice Things Up - Maybe your sex life has fizzled a bit. Try something new! ...maybe not snakes or spiders in the bed, though. Unless that's your thing.
4. Show I Care - Diamonds are a girl's best friend, but you may want to give a gift that's a little less traditional. I hear small countries are hot this year? Or maybe a cat. Either works.
5. You're Timeless to Me - Maybe your honey is a few years older now or gained some weight, but you still think they're beautiful.
6. Trying for Another - Either you decided to start a family or you had a little accident. Either way, you know what you need to do.
7. Proposal - You want to stay together forever. You can go all out, but sometimes a simple gold band works just as well.
8. Married Life - Ah, the good ol' ball and chain. Are you making it work? Sure, you may not always have a white picket fence, but you'll have each other!
9. Growing Old Together - You're the ones who made it work. What's your secret? Are you an adorable little old couple or some wild pensioners?
 

3. END

1. It's Not You, It's Me - You've changed and you just can't see yourself with this person anymore.
2. One Sided - Only one of you is still committed to the relationship.
3. Not Attractive Anymore - One of you has really lost your luster, and you just can't deal with it. You want armcandy, not...this!
4. Can't Get It Up - So, the sex sucks and it can't be saved. Prepared to be celibate?
5. There's Someone Else - Cheating is bad, whether emotional or physical. Your infidelity has just been revealed, and it looks like it may ruin your relationship.
6. Outside Forces - Others, perhaps even family or friends, are breaking you two up. You tried to make it work, but it may be over.
7. Staying Together - You don't love each other, you may even hate each other, yet for some reason, you're staying together.
8. The Breakup - The penultimate. The point of no return. Take your cat, leave my sweater, there's nothing else to weather.

[sousuke tried really really hard to not let his jealousy show through. really hard. (but what can we say, he gets jealous really easily.) but after seeing gou around with someone that wasn't on the swim teams from either iwatobi or samezuka it kind of upset him. he tried to not let it affect him, he tried to let it go. but no elsa, he can't let it go. which is why he pops over to the matsuoka household one weekend afternoon. at least he shot her a text to ask if she was at home, so he's not just showing up out of the blue. once he's there he knocks at the door and waits for her to show up.]

[it's not that weird that sousuke is coming over to her house, but it is kind of weird. since he and rin both live in the dormatories, she usually just goes to see them instead of the other way around. there's something...weird, about having them at the house when they're all grown up now, like it doesn't fit well with her memories.
