[ There were a lot of aspects of college that were a pain, the application process for starters, but nothing was proving to be more annoying than finding an apartment that was both close to campus and affordable.

He'd been secretly happy when he and Yamaguchi had gotten into the same school. He'd tried not to show it, but the idea of living with his best friend brought the warm fuzzies into his chest. It was kind of gross actually.

Still that wasn't stopping him from doing what he knew he wanted, and as Tsukki had put it trying to live in the dorms would be too troublesome. This would be much better. Assuming they could find a place of course. ]

There's another one down the block.

[ They'd been at this all day. Three viewings down and who knew how many more to go and they still hadn't found one they both liked. ]

[Yamaguchi couldn't believe his luck when he ended up at the same school as Tsukki. It would eliminate his fear of going to campus without knowing someone. He was going to school with his best friend, how great was that? At Tsukki's suggestion they move into a place together, Yamaguchi had to hold back his cheer, until he got home. He couldn't believe it going to the same college, then moving in together, it felt like a dream. That may have sounded cheesy, but it did.

Now if they could find a place they both enjoyed, that would be great.]

[how he managed to sneak out of bed (at 7 in the morning of all things) and mess about in their kitchen without alerting his sleeping significant other? no one will know, and even he was surprised- relieved, but surprised. but he managed. he even managed to make a simple (yet delicious) breakfast with relative ease AND without burning their house to the ground.

it wasn't a special occasion, and he wasn't trying to make up for something that would have upset sugawara the night previously and he wasn't using this as an ulterior motive to get something he wanted. just... surprising his lover with breakfast in bed and a day of pampering ahead.

[Suga slept a little bit harder than usual after finishing up some work. He reached over to snuggle against Oikawa when he didn't feel him. He thought he got up to use the bathroom or something and waited for a bit. Suga groaned softly when he felt around for him again then came up with nothing. He stirred when he heard the morning greeting.]

Mmm, Tooru?

[He whispered as he opened his eyes to see Oikawa in front of him with breakfast. He sat up and stifled a yawn behind his hand while he tried to figure out if Oikawa did something. When he came up with nothing, he tried to think if there was something Oikawa wanted that would require buttering him up a bit. When he also came up with nothing he smiled that Oikawa thought of doing something so nice for him.]

I see. Thank you so much for breakfast. The kitchen is still in one piece right? [He teased before he looked over the food in front of him. It all looked very good.]

[With a silver medal around his neck, Ushijima Wakatoshi- Super Ace of Team Japan finally made his way back home. It never used to be hard... leaving. He add Satori had an understanding, they knew what their relationship was and how this was going to work. But along the way it turned into something more and he found it harder to leave for long periods of time. But the tournament was overseas and there was nothing he could do about it. His career was important, and his partner never told him to stop- he was instead told that Satori would be watching him on TV and cheering for him the entire time.

But the season had ended and while they were a hair away from the gold, this silver medal felt good close to his heart. The important thing was coming home to someone he missed dearly.

No one thought they would make it. No one thought they were this serious. But sometimes relationships shift, and theirs did for the better. Tendou Satori was unbelievably patient,one of the few people who stood their ground against him. He never strayed from his side and he taught him things no one else wanted to. And he, in turn, needed time to figure out what they were and how to respond accordingly as to not push the other away.

The result ended up being something he never thought he needed. But ultimately it was what he wanted.

And now that he's home he allows a faint smile grace his lips as he strides up the walkway to a classic, yet modest house, digging in for his keys. Ushijima had told Tendou he'd be arriving the next day, but a rare moment of impatience took him and he booked himself an earlier flight instead.

It was just shy of five in the morning when he quietly steps into their home. He sets his bag, shoes and jacket at the door as he silently moves through their home, up the stairs and to their bedroom.

Ushijima allows himself this quiet moment, to watch the lone sleeping lump in their lage bed. Satori looked so small and peaceful. It would be a shame to wake him... but. Maybe he was allowed to be selfish sometimes.

So he doesn't waste anymore time, shrugging his shirt off, just in his sweatpants and socks as he eases into bed on his side, reaching over to caress a sleeping face.]

...Satori. I missed you.
