[For as close as the Sharpes seemed to be playing them against each other hadn't been that big of a challenge for Vlad. The attachment between the siblings, while unnatural was also born of desperation. Sure they loved each other, but he could easily see Thomas growing restless and Lucille growing frustrated. That small riff was all that he needed to move in and claim both of them as his new fledglings.

Thus he leaned against a desk as Thomas droned on about his mining contraption the very thing that he wanted Vlad to support. The Sharpes had been ever so kind to offer the rich foreign prince a place to stay while they discussed business. Suffice to say, he took the offer, their rundown home not that much better than the rundown castle that he usually called home in Transylvania.]

Would it not be easy to mine for this ore if the house were demolished?

[Thomas replied coolly, while Vlad simply laughed. Slowly he stepped closer to Thomas, his eyes locked with the other man's.]
