Post with your character! They're now stuck in a very cold place of your choice. It can be anything, such as a freezing chamber, a cavern or a small cabin in the midst of a blizzard. The choice is up to you.

Comment around! Now your character has some company in this bone-chilling environment. The two of them share two things in common: clothes completely unfitting for this weather (be they summer clothes or even lingerie) and a blanket.

A blanket? Yes, just one warm blanket and no other ways to escape the cold. The two of them will have to share it in order to stay alive in this weather. Don't worry, you're sure to find a common language in this terrible situation!

So, uh, have fun, I suppose. Try to not freeze to death!

Protip: friction and body heat are both excellent ways to fend off cold.

[ just because it's fucking freezing in the apartment complex and everyone's heaters are broken doesn't mean shit. it doesn't mean that malcolm's apartment, which is colder than anyone else's, it seems, is allowed to throw his hand through her once-again broken window, unlock her door, and crawl into her bed while she's in it. it doesn't matter he does it all the time. it doesn't matter that a client had gotten a little too aggressive with him and she'd decided to toss him through a window (preferably one that was malcolm-approved, since she figured throwing him out the window and onto the streets below would be bad for business. not like she cared about that). it really doesn't matter. she doesn't like malcolm's company. he's a menace with feelings. ]

"Did you grow up in a desert, or something?"

Cloud asked with quiet curiosity instead of an insulting tone. Was she in such bad shape because she was wounded, maybe bleeding internally, as well as hypothermic? She was clearly still alive, but he wasn't sure that she had even heard the question. It would be no problem to scoop her up and carry her to safety, but getting permission first just in case the damsel in distress could melt your brain seemed like the smarter option.

A lot of planets had deserts, including Cloud's home planet Gaia, but the strange woman he had found collapsed in the snow should have been better dressed for the weather. Cloud's own clothing was made of thinner material, with no sleeves and pant legs that fluttered in the icy breeze, but the wild frozen forest he had been traveling through on the way to Pirate's Cove was positively balmy compared to his childhood home in the shadows of Mount Nibel. He was on foot, and it wasn't as if he had brought a blanket with him or anything like that, just a courier's bag across his body and his oversize sword in a harness on his back.

[This is probably the most inconvenient jobs the Benriyas ever taken in. Some sort of freak winter storm rolled in over Ergastulum, cold wind and rain knocking the power out of the building they were stationed in. It was supposed to be a simple delivery job, which had turned into traveling through a ridiculously odd part of town, and upon Worick's insistence of Nicolas tagging along with Alex, their 'short trip' turned into a possible overnight stay at one of the local inns.

...which had no power because of the storm. On top of the fact that the rain had hit quickly and heavily while they were out, and Alex's clothing--all of her clothing, who was she fooling, thinking it'd be easier to dry her legs than a pair of pants and not nearily as cold?--had taken very kindly to the weather. Which was to say she was drenched and freezing. Thankfully, the innkeeper had no problem finding them a small room to bide their time in, but the tacky wall decor and the thin blanket on the bed didn't do them any wonders. Worick's only advice was to hang tight until the storm passed, and thus...

She sighs, peering through the window. It doesn't look like it'll let up anytime soon, and she can already feel the shivers settling in. Crossing her arms across her chest, she rubs them in the hopes of fending away goosebumps. Then, turning back to Nicolas, she waits until she can meet his eyes before speaking to him.]

The teenager is certainly not dressed for the weather; in fact, she's not even wearing long pants, but rather a pair of khaki shorts that leave space for knee pads and a bit of bare skin over her heavy boots. Her appearance says 'boy' more likely than 'girl'. She stomps her way into the cabin in a swirl of snow, thinking the place abandoned, slams the door behind her hard enough it shakes on the hinges, and turns to point the gun straight at the current occupant.
