You're on a deserted island. Far from civilization and any decent wi-fi. It's pretty much what it says on the tin. Maybe you took a wrong turn while out at sea, or you got shipwrecked. Whatever happened, you're stranded here, but at least you've got company. 

WHAT DO:
- Leave a comment with your character. You can write your own prompt/s if you want. Indicate your preferences, if any.

PROMPTS:

1 - Where am I? Congratulations, you just survived a...whatever calamity it was that brought you here! Side effects may include disorientation, exhaustion, and exposure to the elements. Better start moving before the sea decides that it wants to keep you.

2 - I'm hungry. You'd better start looking for food while you're at it. And try not to end up as food for the local wildlife. If you don't know how to hunt or forage, it's time for a crash course.

3 - The bare necessities. Some things don't grow on trees or swim freely in the sea. You'll have to improvise and start building anything else you need.

4 - Exploring! You gotta admit, you're curious about what lies beyond the sand and the palm trees. Just be careful, you don't know what -  or who - you might find in there.

5 - I'm outta here! Time to put your escape plan into action and hope it works. Or...just scrawl a large S.O.S. in the sand and start waving wildly.

6 - It's like rain on your wedding day. It's raining. Do you seek shelter or keep calm and carry on with whatever you were doing that isn't seeking shelter?

7 - Sleepless nights. Sleeping under the starry night sky (or under a flimsy handmade shed) might be a thing you always wanted, but you kinda wish you were closer to home and that nice wi-fi connection. It's hard to sleep to begin with, too.

[The next time someone asks Edgeworth why he never takes vacations, he's going to point to this day. He is going to point to the day where he was forced onto a rickety boat, caught in the storm of the century, and washed ashore with a complete weirdo.

(Alright, so Edgeworth is the only one who would describe one of the most luxurious cruise liners in the world as some rickety boat. But do you know what else was the height of luxury at the time? The Titanic. So there.)

Anyway, at least he's alive. Soaked and bruised and scratched, but alive. He turns to his fellow survivor and clears his throat, ready to take charge and form a plan.]

Vane rises to consciousness with a mouthful of sand, and his eyes burning with brine or blood. There are vague memories of a brawl - he was winning, if the recollection of shattering the last of the bastard's blackened teeth serves him well - but how he ended up here, on some godforsaken beach with the rocks scraping his shirtless back like a ragged whore's nails, he cannot begin to guess.

So when he opens his eyes to the sight of Jack Rackham's scraggly-and-concerned visage hovering over him, he is not particularly pleased.

"Get the fuck out of my face," he half-spits, half-snarls, his voice even more gravel-laden than usual; he did swallow the sand, after all.

[Oh, of all the luck Ruby had - stuck on some deserted island in the middle of nowhere with no way to get any sort of help. At least right now. This was certainly something she wasn't too entirely trained on, and yet she was determined to keep a smile on her face and keep looking up. There had to be someone else here, weren't there?

She was ready to stop for the night, but the sight of a glowing fire got her attention. She followed it and let her eyes go wide as she saw the other girl and her campfire. A huge smile crossed her face before she opted to join her.]

[ Figures something bad would happen when Nate finally convinces Jessica to come to the Avengers' new base.

He was a competent pilot. Maybe not as good as Clint but he knew what he was doing. The tech they had was also state of the art. Anyone managing to bypass that... That was not good news. At all. When he came to, he realized they had bigger problems on their hands. He wakes up with half his face in the sand. Still wet, the ocean trying to pull him back into the sea by his legs.

He pushes himself up slowly, feeling dizzy as soon as he moved. Once he's able to focus, he looks around. Island. That's his first thought. He looks down the shore one way, seeing wreckage from the quinjet and then down the other way. He spots Jessica and he's getting up. He honestly can't remember what happened. The jet should have warned them for any oncoming missiles. He looks up at the sky, amazed they had made it onto the island in one piece. At least it seemed that way so far.

He sways a bit on his way to her, calling out for her as he nears, ]

Jones.

[ He rolls her over onto her back and waits for any sign of waking.

It would be relaxing, they said. She'd have fun, they said! Cruises that cheep didn't come along every day, they said. Well, what the fuck was so relaxing about this?!

She should have known, she thought to herself miserably, as the tiny blow up dingy she'd managed to climb into bobbed along in the ocean, accompanied on either side but the wreckage of the once great Budget Cruise Line vessel. No fucking wonder this cruise was so cheep. The boat had fucking holes in it!

She had no idea where she was now. Somewhere in the Caribbean. That's where they were supposed to go. She was going to die out here, wasn't she? Out here baking to death under a beautiful sun, dehydrated but surrounded by lovely cerulean waves. Fuck her life.

But wait. What was that? An island? An actual, real island? Holy shit!

She jumped up in the boat, and shielded her eyes to see better. Yes! It was an island! She'd be saved. Maybe. Hell, it was better than staying out here. That thought filled her with new determination. She grabbed up the plastic oar that came with the boat and began paddling frantically towards the island. At this rate, maybe she'd make it there by night-fall.
