[They'd always been friends... The three of them always spent time together and she always liked Sousuke. Except... Maybe this isn't how she thought things would turn out back then..? Sousuke was important to her and seeing him again was always nice. Since he lived nearby again, Gou was more than happy to spend time with him when it was possible. She knew that he was pretty busy and so was she with the others. Maybe she wasn't coming to see him for old times? Maybe it was for other reasons all together? Either way, she was going to make sure that he didn't push himself too hard.

It took her a while to find out herself, but hearing about his shoulder worried her a bit. She had no reason to really stop him though. If swimming was the one thing he really wanted, was it really right and preach to the choir about how he should be more careful? What would she have done in the same predicament? Well... it was hard to say, seeming as she herself had no idea how to swim. Checking up on him...]

Sousuke-kun?

[Sousuke was always good friends with Rin and his sister Gou. They hung out together and he really enjoyed their company. However, lately he started to see Gou in a different light. Sure, she was still his friend and a very important person to her, though it was his first time seeing her in such a light. Sousuke always pushed that thought to the back of his mind. Between school and his practice with the swim team, he didn't have enough time to let it go any further than a passing thought. He wouldn't deny that he liked when she came over.

Sousuke walked over when he heard the doorbell. His shoulder was doing much better today after his exercises which made his day go better. He opened the door to see Gou there without Rin. Well, it's not like they had to see him together. It didn't stop his heart from beating a little faster though. He gave a small smile as he stepped aside for her.]

Hello Gou, what's up?

[Despite visiting him plenty of other times, she had started to note those slight butterflies she'd feel around him lately. It had been this way for a while for her now and sometimes she wondered if it came out as clearly as he feelings for muscles.

What had she come here for today? She... really didn't think about it. She was just worried about how he'd been lately and while he looked to be doing a little better today, now she wondered just what she should say. Admitting that she was here just for that seemed kind of trivial and a bit embarrassing, but admitting that she just wanted to see him in general was probably even more so. Nodding back to him lightly with a smile in return, she entered the room once he stepped aside.]

Oh uhm... I was just.... in the neighborhood and thought I'd say hi.

[Sousuke felt that warm stirring inside him again when Gou walked in. It would be alright it was Gou after all. Then why did he feel so nervous? He reminded himself that it was Gou and she was probably visiting. No doubt Rin told her about his shoulder and their club, so that wasn't unusual. With his mind set he closed the door behind him and shook his head.]

Oh, that's fine. It's been awhile since we saw each other. How have you been? Um, do you want something to eat? To drink?

Yeah, it's been pretty busy. Oh, no I'm-- [.... and there's her stomach answering before her mouth] Uhh.... I'm okay..

[But her stomach says otherwise... How embarrassing...]

You're also meeting her there, though, and she has been asserting herself as your friend. So, maybe it isn't a date after all?

Either way, he'll find Maya waiting for him just outside the shop they're meeting up at, bouncing on her heels in that familiar kitty-cat dress.

[ For once Neptune was helping Noire out with some chores, mainly cleaning and putting some junk in boxes for storage. It was far better then trying to do her own work for sure. Of course, Neptune did want something out of it, more or less being told she did a good job and some head patting and even pudding as a reward for the hard work. ]

The last of the boxes has been tetris stacked away!

[Noire knows Neptune's procrastinating. She even chastised Neptune for procrastinating when she showed up at the Basilicom offering to do chores. She'd said 'go do your own work before you offer to do mine'--]

[But the allure of the offer was too good, and she had to accept eventually.]

[All the Christmas decorations and old cords are packed away in storage, a cardboard Jenga megalith standing watch over the nation's junk. Noire's worked up a sweat - she's not used to this, okay - and when it's all done, she leans against the wall and sighs.]

Whew. [But she looks at Neptune with something like honest pride in her eyes and says:] We did a pretty good job, didn't we?
