[Slipping in to the turbolift and seeing Leia bent over a datapad, Luke had opted for not saying anything at the moment - she looks focused, and he knows she's busy, especially as they try to get everything in order to move to Echo base, when it's ready.

Ten seconds later, and the automatic mag locks activate as the light flickers and the car grinds to a stop.]

Um... [Glancing around, Luke frowns. They can't be under attack, because there's no alarm, but he can't quite figure out what else would cause this to happen.]

[There are a lot of benefits to attending this technology expo with Miss Grant—Kara plans on looking around for a demo of a truly indestructible phone, for one thing—but the best part is that it's in Metropolis, and the Daily Planet had happened to send Clark Kent to cover it. They were actually going to have lunch without either of them having to duck out of work and fly across the country.

They still need to be a little careful, of course, no one knows Kara Danvers and Clark Kent are cousins, but she's still beaming as she meets him at the elevators. This is going to be really fun.

That is, until there's a thunk noise outside the elevator in the convention center, and the lights dim, and it grinds to a shuddering halt. Kara looks up from her phone (with its cracked screen, hence the eternal hope for a phone that won't break) and stares at the flickering lights in disbelief.]

...really? We're stuck in an elevator.

An elevator is a bit larger than what he usually pushes with the Force, so Kylo must use his powers in a more creative way. While Q opens up a panel, he waves his hand and the doors open up just enough for him to confirm that they're stuck in between floors. He looks up towards the ceiling, searching for a hatch to open up.]
