She doesn't trust her not to get distracted by a candy wrapper in the breeze or something. ] I've been to this place before, so I know it's pretty good.

Kyouko looks the place over as they approach. To her, the fact that they're eating out is fun and exciting in and of itself. Since she started living independently, Kyouko tended to avoid restaurants. On a few occasions she would dine and dash, but in general it was a lot easier for her to steal from groceries or convenience stores. Eating out was a process, and, even if it was just in the back of her mind, it always felt worse to see and potentially interact with the people she'd be stealing from.

Even now, as they step inside with completely legitimate intentions, Kyouko has to mentally pacify a few uncomfortable jitters. She thinks it's kind of pathetic, and she hopes Sayaka doesn't notice. If anything were to tip her off, it would be that Kyouko hesitates just a second or two before replying.]
