[Sayaka laughs a little, smoothing out her skirt and trying to mat down her own hair a little.]

Yeah, but if I decided to go all out, we'd have to find a pretty big place that could a lot of punishment.

[Sayaka flops onto the bed herself, half-lying down.]

[Kyouko lies on her stomach and starts going through the food again.]

The characters in those shows always end up wherever's convenient for the plot. They're unrealistic in a lot of ways people don't even think about.

Yeah, I guess so. Not that fighting witches really seems much more realistic. If you'd told me a year ago that was what I'd be doing today, I'd have just laughed.

[There's a slightly sad quality to her voice right now, but this is Sayaka before she's given up on everything.]

[Kyouko gives Sayaka a glance, frowning a little.]

'Course you would've. But we know better than anybody now what's real and what isn't.

Yeah. We'll just have to make the best of it while we can.

[She sighs a bit, moving closer to where Kyouko is laying down and flopping down next to her, pressing against her side just a bit. They might not always get along so well, but Sayaka at least knows she understands. That kind of closeness is nice sometimes, even if it's only because she's the only other one.]

[Kyouko does understand. And, on this rare occasion, she doesn't feel like she has much of an appetite. Instead of picking something to munch on, she leans her head on Sayaka's shoulder.]

Man, I'm tired. Whenever I get into a scrap with you, it always takes a lot outta me.

[Sayaka gives her a brief teasing poke in the side before just draping an arm across her back.]

[The tone is unconvincing. It seems pretty clear that she'd rather just hang with Sayaka and do the cuddle thing.]

Yeah, I've had enough of that for today anyway.

[Well, that makes two of them. Somehow all that fighting and sniping they did earlier has gotten Sayaka into a pretty snuggly mood, so she's more than happy to just keep lying there with her. At some point, she moves one of her legs so it's resting on top of Kyouko's, trying to get more comfortable.]

[Kyouko makes a mumbling sound to signify that she agrees. After getting a bit drowsier, she starts to curl up a little and presses closer to Sayaka. This is a more than suitable napping position, as it turns out.]

[Sayaka lets a small yawn escape as Kyouko snuggles up closer, shifting onto her side so she's got her face resting on her shoulder. Apparently she thinks it'll make a nice pillow.]

I'll treat you to some ice cream when we wake up...

[Sort of half-mumbled as she's drifting off. It's a bit of a peace offering.]

[Kyouko is very close to dozing off herself, but she definitely heard that. It inspires a tiny smile; one that the other girl couldn't see, on account of Kyouko's face being almost buried into Sayaka's clothes.]

[It's quiet and half-yawned out, but there it is all the same. Sayaka closes her eyes, cuddling up and making herself more comfortable before drifting off for real.]
