The further you are from that magical age, the more adulthood seems like a far-off, idyllic fantasy land. When you're an adult, no one can tell you what to do. You're on your own, you can do whatever you like, and there's absolutely nothing to answer for. At least, that's how it seems. But the grass is always greener on the other side, isn't it? As an adult, your eyes are opened. You're on your own, yes, but you cannot do whatever you'd like and there's everything to answer for. And you're alone in this world.

But perhaps you're not there yet. Perhaps you're caught up somewhere between adult and child. The existential crisis of age is beginning to dawn upon you, yet there's something in you that is still enchanted by adulthood. So it's natural that, as your sexual interests grow, you'll be interested in someone that can give you what your young peers cannot. As you've gotten older and wiser, you've learned you don't have all the answers, though you'll never admit that. Isn't it better to learn from the best and those more experienced? Yet there's still some brattiness left in you, and what could be better to stick it to authority than by being in control of somebody older than you, who should be in charge of you? You have them wrapped around your finger and that's intoxicating. Of course, letting someone else be in charge is all right; it may have to be, unless you want them to punish you.

What if you're not the younger one in this equation, though? You're the adult. How do you view your relationship with your youthful lover? It has to be just romantic...there's nothing parental about it, right? If there is or isn't, do you feel guilt? Perverse glee?

Don't become too worked up yet. This could all be a game, a kink between two of age lovers. Though society wouldn't look all too kindly on that, either...

Being born a werewolf, Will Borden probably had things a little easier than some, but he was still grateful for everything that Talia--Ms. Hale--had been teaching him. About how to not only accept the change, but to embrace it. How to be a wolf, and how be himself.

He knew he wasn't supposed to have feelings for his teacher. Not like this. But he couldn't help it. She was good to him. She was good to everyone in the pack, and he respected her, so he tried to keep his feelings to himself. But the harder he tried to conceal it, the harder it became.

Will had been an exception to how she usually went about her pack. She didn't usually invite strays. But she was feeling him. She saw in him someone who was lost and needed guidance. So she had invited him to the pack to teach her what she knew, make a family.

But as time went by, feelings grew. She knew it wasn't right but there was just something charming about the young wolf. She couldn't quite stop herself. She did try to hide her feelings though but it was getting increasingly hard, especially as she started to sense that maybe, just maybe he felt similar.

It was... an experience to say the least. She wasn't sure how it would end.

Maybe it was because they were working so closely together, or maybe because Will realized that she had made an exception for him when she'd brought him ito the pack, but Will couldn't help feeling like they had a connection. He didn't want to read into it, if she didn't feel anything but motherly toward him. He didn't want to mess things up. He knew that he needed the support of other wolves.

But he couldn't stop thinking about the strong, and beautiful alpha. Couldn't stop dreaming about her.

He caught himself staring during one of their lessons (not for the first time) and realized that he hadn't really heard a word that she'd said. With all the blood that was rushing to other parts of his anatomy, he still somehow managed to blush bright red. "Sorry," he said, shifting uncomforably, "What were you saying?"

Thomas was gearing up for the grand reopening his boutique when he met Elizabeth. She wandered into the shop, looking wide-eyed, and enchanted with the world. He knew that look, just like he knew that he was bad news for someone like her. But he also knew that there were all kinds of things in Chicago that would be worse news.

"Pardon the mess," he called from behind the coffee bar. "We're in the process of remodeling, but we are definitely open for business."

Elizabeth wasn't quite lost, but she'd never been in a big city like Chicago before. That was the point of being there. With all of time and space at her disposal she'd picked a place at random and started exploring. The salon and coffee shop was close to where her tear appeared, so it was her first stop.

She paused when she saw Thomas. He radiated sexuality, his whole form seemingly built to arouse her. She blushed violently, but managed a smile. "Thank you. I don't mind the mess. I'll take a large cup of coffee and maybe you can talk me into a new hair color." She needed a change. Something older, sexier, and more experienced. If she was going to chase after the remaining Comstocks she wanted to look as fierce as she felt.

Thomas was aware of his effect on people, but he ignored it, for now. He smiled back--warmly, but not too warmly--and retrieved a large, ceramic mug. If she stayed to get her hair done, then she'd definitely be back. The more often she came around, the less likely she'd be to get into trouble elsewhere.

"Room for cream?" he asked, as he began to fill the mug with the brew of the day. "Are you thinking all-over color, or foils?"

"I take it black normally," Elizabeth said with a smile. "As for my hair, I'm not sure what I want. I'm on my own for the first time and I want something dramatic that isn't too crazy. Upkeep won't be an issue, so I don't mind if it requires a little work to keep it nice."

She moved closer to the counter, examining Thomas openly. It was so embarrassing, but she couldn't help herself. Her while body felt so warm and tingly.
