[traveling with his grandfather over an unfairly large portion of the globe was kind of a pain in the ass. unfortunately for Jotaro it turns out that there's actually something worse than that, and it is traveling with a younger Joseph Joestar. he'd ask how this man ever made it into his sixties without someone killing him, but he knows the answer: it's because Jotaro wasn't alive to do it himself.

thankfully he's managed to keep control of the car away from his accident-prone relative. a lot of this has been managed by his conveniently failing to mention that he's not even old enough to hold a license in Japan - and maybe that omitted inexperience is why he seems to be completely oblivious to the strange clunking noise that the vehicle's been making since the last time they stopped for gas.

or maybe he's just determined to get to wherever they're going as fast as humanly possibly, even if that means driving this car on two wheels while the rest of it flames out behind them. it's hard to tell with Jotaro. either way, he's not commenting on it and his gaze remains steely and focused on nothing but the highway.]
