The slimey texture of the fish hadn't bothered Kyousuke in the slightest, as the appropriate attire of his school uniform was already drenched from his adventures in the sea. Needless to say, he was rather cheerful. It was something like out of the shounen manga he read! His imaginative mind ran short however, when his eyes locked to Hitagi's, her confusion written poetically down to her pretty long hair.]

[His social skills as strong as his initial approaches towards others, it shouldn't be too much of an abnormality for him to point the baseball bat he was carrying in his other hand at his delighted guest.]

What pitiful chapter to start an arc with them, you're clearly a side character on the likes of a pirate with a bounty of ¥2697. I'm disappointed in you, Wet Baller Kyousuke. You should have made stronger rivals, rivals worthy of being introduced in Chapter #236: "Some Things Are Better Left Unsaid. Wet Baller's Story Revealed!" [ Her voice was incredibly monotone until she said the chapter's title, where she spoke with (apparently) strong emotions. It didn't last long though. ]

Sorry to disappoint. However, chapters 1-300 are very much needed in this wet baller's retelling. His story is to go unabridged. [He spoke with tone unchanged, patting his shoulder with his wooden bat.]

Speaking of, I should be clear. This was never my story to begin with. Yes, I am nothing but the side character who only takes the spotlight when needed. I planned to have a novel for myself to truly show my backstory unedited. However, if I were to introduce these rivals so early, I feared that I would be mistaken as the main character. [The fish shakes.]
