( i'll always fight for you )
![]() They showed you kindness, perhaps in a way you'd never seen before, perhaps in a way you can never repay. But you're trying; in exchange, you're offering your loyalty, for how much or how little that's worth. For them, you'd do anything: you'd fight, you'd protect, you'd be their right hand or their biggest advocate, if they needed it and you can offer it. As long as you get to stay by their side, it doesn't matter. So, you certainly don't have to worry about your bond surpassing what you have now or becoming romantic, do you? That will just get in your way of being there for them. Since you've only got their best interest at heart, it won't bother you if someone else were to pursue them... ...right? As long as you get to stay by their side. As long as you get to fight for them. As long as they need you.

i am a little bit 'the time rachel died and they were bad at their emotions' when edgar comes back on not the deathiversary like 'yo you said to come back when you weren't drunk' perhaps
alternately ed going to elliot after rachel leaves instead of argine because life
alternately alternately edgar's ghost trolling dadliot because yes
Re: ooc;
I say yes to all and will put in something for trolling Dadliot if you don't mind starting the non-deathiversary one.
But I also kind of want to do the middle one but only if we continue the version of that where eventually it turns into threesomes and this part is fluffy. :|a
Does that make sense?

Does that make more sense? :|a

But non-deathiversary anyway /o/
There are literally no excuses left to keep him from risking an unbroken piece of his heart.
He makes it nearly all the way to the Outposts before he pulls over to get control of his nerves. Maybe it's a mistake, after all. Maybe it had been the alcohol talking. Maybe he had completely misread every little breath he thought was a sign and was simply risking one of the most important friendships left in his life. Maybe he should just keep going, enjoy the ride and visit Elliot the way friends visit without saying anything.
There's a smile along with the nerves in the back of his voice as he sits by the side of the road, phone nudged in and helmet slightly askew. "--hey. You home? Or are you busy?"
Hooray \o/
Happy fluffy nerds being dorks y/y?
"Y' mind a little company?" It's just a little delicate, putting things carefully closer to out on the table. "You said to-- come over some time, you know?"
Absolutely yes!

Dadliot B)
Absolutely has him drowsing off for a nap of his own while the baby's asleep.
/smothers in affection
Hopefully it's also made easier by how often Edgar settles in with comforting touches, smoothing hair or nuzzling shoulders or, as now, simply draping in gentle affection against the living man's frame.
"Wait 'til he starts running around on his own, hm?"
/eeee
The faint words get the slightest amused snort, "'m starting t'regret naming him after you. That's got t'be what's contributing to his ridiculous energy."
/carefully protects the nice thing
Still, of course, with a friendly presence spending half its time settled around the house, keeping an eye on everything.
"Apparently that was the nightmare year."

here is an elise
spoiler alert: the doing will be of a face-kissing nature
or just regular universe elise hitting on ellie when learning to smoke
wonderful :3
but difficult. these jerks. o9
Hogwarts do you want random flirting or to pretend the yule ball is a real all-the-time-seriously thing so elise can make a total fool out of herself :|aaa
tell me about it :|a
coinflip says flirting and i can poke at a starter for it my next time around if that's ziggy with you /o/
historical lesbians \o/
It's probably easier, Élise imagines, when you aren't also constantly being asked to remind people that your gender doesn't invalidate your opinions.
That's what has her snappish and snarling, most days, even after the meetings are done--even after the meetings are successful. Part of it, of course, is the necessity of being as abrupt and blunt and certain as a man in her position would be. It's just that most of it is sheer frustration for the fact she's working more than twice as hard as most of the Les Amis and still finds herself scrambling half the time to keep her voice properly heard.
There isn't really much of a reason to vent her anger at one of the few other women involved (for given values of 'involved). It's just there always seems to be some amount of proximity, when all is said and done. "Would you-- move that crap?" The single bottle of wine doesn't take up so much space, but it's a good fixed point to direct her frustration at. "I'm trying to work."
\o/ also apparently Ellie is already french hell yeah
next time we'll do a hapsburg au and all my german names will get to stay o9
i'll add it to the list :3

RANDOM FLIRTING WHICH I ALMOST FORGOT
"Hey there, stranger."
SHH INTO ELISE'S AWKWARD ARMS FIVEEVER
This, at least, feels safe and easy--entirely normal social interaction. With a bright sparkle of a laugh bursting off Elise's lips at the greeting, admittedly, but that's fairly par for the course with the Gryffindor. "--oi! It's been ages."
