hurt/comfort smut; meme Bruised. Beaten. Stabbed. Sapped of energy. Tricked. Mentally played and abused. Perhaps you've even seen your home world destroyed, depending on how Homestuck you are. Any way you slice it, characters go through a lot of crap. There's nothing wrong with wanting to see them get pampered and taken care of when they're ailing. In canon, they may not have someone who can provide them with care when they're injured, support and love when they're sick, and physical intimacy all around. In this post, AU or other scenarios can provide them with a caretaking partner of their very own (or, maybe, someone to take care of, if the reverse is their preference). So, for once, weary traveler, you don't have to carry that weight all by yourself. The injury may not be a temporary physical or mental one, however. Some characters suffer more deeply, even if they don't know it. Darkness covers their hearts, they're withdrawn, insecure, angry, or lonely. They need someone to reach out to them and show them unconditional love. This post can provide that, too. Whether it be the cliche and shameless "changed by your love" trope or something more subtle like getting someone to open up, the characters here can offer that and more. [HMMMM. Sorry for poofing out of that other thread; holiday craziness takes its toll. So, I don't know if I could see Charles and Rogue having a thing, but if you're down for it they could definitely get drunk one night and get smutty and then be SUPER AWKWARD after.

That aside, I also recently made this Onslaught-based au @ exomes and I've been meaning to toss him at someone. We could do something with that, if you'd rather. He's pretty intent on turning all of humanity into a subservient hivemind, but maybe he and Rogue could have a weird bond despite that little character flaw? She could've ended up in his dimension after dofp and had to play cooperative while she tries to figure out a way to subvert him, or something. He's pretty liberal with the mind control, but I could find ways to dial it down to whatever's your preference. Idk.]

[As someone whose actions are predominantly dictated by fear of mental or physical harm, Frisk can be a rather dark version of one who needs comforting. Topics of attempted suicide and bullying can occur. Let me know if you do not want either or both topics coming up. I'll find some work-around that you're comfortable with.

[On the flipside, they have no limit to how much they care for others, and they would be happy to care for someone who needs it. I have no particular triggers, but I appreciate any warning of anything that would be triggering to others ahead of time so I am not taken off guard, and others can avoid said topics. <3

[I do not mind platonic things or ships, or, well, more. But for ships and beyond, Frisk will automatically be assumed to be around 25 years of age. I can give Frisk a particular gender, as well, if it's something that you prefer, though I default to physically male, but their pronouns will always be gender-neutral.
