The intelligence on her was sparse, but Felix would know that Liling, now going by Lily, was born the daughter of a powerful Hong Kong crime boss with extensive ties to xenathrope criminal organizations. That she was a xenathrope and a healer was common knowledge. What wasn't common knowledge was that her powers covered a broader spectrum. It wasn't so much healing as it was the manipulation of the human body on a biological level, and she had training in the field of traditional Chinese medicine. In theory she could do a lot of damage with those powers. The opposite of healing of course was harm. In practice, as far as EXCALIBUR knew, those theories were just rumors. The woman hadn't proven them right or wrong yet. She'd disappeared about a year ago, in the middle of a violent organized crime struggle, and was presumed dead by the authorities until several months ago when she was spotted in London.

Liling had caught wind of the fact that someone was looking for her early on, and she'd led her pursuer on a merry chase across the globe, managing to slip between his fingers every time before she was finally backed into a corner and arrested. EXCALIBUR wasn't the only organization interested in finding her. Her own people wanted her back, and not, presumably, for her own good. Leaving was punishable by death, and she knew too much.

The woman hadn't resisted arrest. There was no point. And the truth was that she was tired of running. Capture had been inevitable, whether it was by this man represented, or by her own people, and in truth, her xenathropic abilities were all but useless when it came to defending herself. All that she'd ever had to rely on to protect herself was her intelligence and charm. Those had clearly failed her, and her luck had finally run out. So, when she'd come face to face with the tall English man at last, she'd merely smiled and inclined her head as if ceding victory to a worthy opponent.

Now, en route to EXCALIBUR headquarters, she was frowning down at the cuffs around her small wrists, and looking indignant. "You could take these off, you know."
