The "Knight"/"Prince/ss *" Meme * that's gender neutral It's fairly simple, really, no royalty required. One of you is the "princess:" sweet, gentle, possibly energetic, always full of life and innocence. The other is the "knight:" stoic, or at least serious about protecting that one special person, dedicated, strong, a fighter. And the two of you are in love, even if one...less expressive than the other. Together romantically or not, there's something that connects you, most likely a driving need to protect. But don't let the normal conventions full you, the "princess" (or "prince," as it may be, because the terms here are gender neutral) is just as important. Someone has look to the emotional well-being and happiness of the "knight," and often, those "knights" need a lot of help. Comment with your character and preferences. Be sure to include which role you'd like to play. Reply to others.

[The closeness made her sort of feel like blushing, but... well, it wasn't hurting anything, was it? It didn't feel unsafe, from Kaede.]

[Kaede reached out carefully, brushing her fingertips over the finished edge. The fabric was smooth, soft, and yet didn't seem terribly fragile.]

[Kaede kept tracing her fingers to where Historia was was holding the piece up, curling her callused hand around the other girl's.]

[Something about the touch of her hand made Historia pause for a moment, a bright blush rising into her cheeks.]

[She chuckled a little, despite her own ears abruptly doing their best to blend in with her hair almost in sympathy.]

[She might be pouting just a little. There's no need to pick on her, when you're the one who made her blush in the first place!]

[She can't help it! Kaede giggles. Actual laughter this time, too. The blush creeps further onto her cheeks, but she doesn't seem to mind terribly much. She even squeezes Historia's hand again.]

[Goodness, her face might get stuck this way if she kept smiling. Then what would everyone else think?]
