She is the one, and I have a purpose:
* that's gender neutral ![]() It's fairly simple, really, no royalty required. One of you is the "princess:" sweet, gentle, possibly energetic, always full of life and innocence. The other is the "knight:" stoic, or at least serious about protecting that one special person, dedicated, strong, a fighter. And the two of you are in love, even if one...less expressive than the other. Together romantically or not, there's something that connects you, most likely a driving need to protect. But don't let the normal conventions full you, the "princess" (or "prince," as it may be, because the terms here are gender neutral) is just as important. Someone has look to the emotional well-being and happiness of the "knight," and often, those "knights" need a lot of help.

A young woman bound by honor and an assassin trained in swordsmanship, Shinobu's more likely to be in the knight's role. She reveres those she pledges her word to, but she's far from a pushover and ready to take initiative by the reigns if she has -- or wants -- to. If she's in the guarded princess role, don't expect her to be meek and reliant on her knight. This is a girl who can cut you with blade or projected sonic force, after all.

Noa has been in both roles. Ordained a Neo Knight, he was tasked to preserve and protect the law of the land and did so ruthlessly with the Shard powers coursing through his veins and his Key Spirit Sachura at his command. At the same time, he was deemed a Savior due to Sachura choosing him as its Caster and heralded, much like a prince might, as the country's hope and future -- a responsibility that has proven at times difficult to bear, but nonetheless one he dedicated himself to upholding.
