[ Wolfwood has no clue how it is that he always gets roped into doing all the work in this partnership. He's always the one driving them from town to town and getting them checked into a room, always getting them room service or ordering dinner, always figuring out what method of travel they'd take to get to the next town over.

When he agreed to this, he had figured he'd be doing a whole lot more shooting, not this babysitting-type stuff.

It's been a cold week, reaching an all-time low tonight -- which should be a welcome reprieve from the relentless heat on this planet, but it isn't. Instead, it's practically freezing, and by the time they've found an inn for the night, Wolfwood's body is racked by full body shivers. The innkeeper's wife shows Vash up to a room while Wolfwood stays in what's auspiciously named the lobby to negotiate the price for the night.

Apparently he's none too happy with the price he gets, because when he trudges into the room, he's mumbling something along the lines of-- ]

[With the atrocities committed by Mistress Poulin and the Red Templars to the citizens of Sahrnia brought to justice Lucan was all too eager to get back to their camp at the tall Tower to recuperate. The intense cold weather that had over taken the area made the Inqusition's advances through Emprise du Lion slow to a crawl that promised to keep them occupied within the region for at least the next month.

When they first arrived back at camp Lucan had been ready to retreat to the comfort of his tent, but scouts from Skyhold had brought news from home along with builders eager to begin talks of rebuilding Judicael's Crossing. By the time terms were finalized the sun had vanished past the mountains and what troops were not currently on watch huddled around small personal fires eating steaming bowls of beef stew that Lucan could smell cooking nearby. The draw of dinner hot or cold draws his attention and he's more than happy to wait his turn in line in order to receive a bowl of his own before finally making his way back in to his tent.

What he finds upon entering is enough to make him linger in the opening with the flap still hanging off his arm and open letting cold air in.]

[ So Sailor Uranus had gotten ganged up on by monsters of the week this evening. She'd handled it with aplomb, as she always does - sans Neptune, as the other woman was across town at a recital rehearsal at the time; but what kind of partner would she be if leaving her alone would make the other woman worry? She handled all four of those monsters, no problem.

It's the fifth one that got a hit in. And then ran.

Uranus, to her relief, was not defeated by the monster. But it's a monster generated from a carpet store, so she's currently finding her mobility somewhat...limited.

Hoping to keep to the shadows, Uranus inches down the street as best she can with her arms bound to her sides and her legs completely wrapped in a blanket. At any moment she may lose her balance and fall over. Every now and then she stops to struggle, then resolves to keep moving. This is frustrating. This is humiliating.

More to the point, this is silly, and compromises the secrecy of the Sailor Soldiers' Mission. She sure hopes nobody notices her! ]
