[ It's been... God, it's been years since he last saw Johnny now. Law school, law school and then more law school didn't really leave him with many opportunities to go back home for a visit, not to mention the fact that well... he wasn't exactly in a hurry to go back. He'd wanted out for a reason. He'd wanted out for many reasons, and once he actually managed to get away even the good things about home kind of lost some of their magic.

But that's just trying to put a pretty face on an ugly reality, in all honesty. He ran away, that's the simple truth. He saw an exit and he went for it because he couldn't see anything good coming from sticking around.

And he left Johnny behind.

So he's not exactly expecting the red carpet treatment now that he's back in town, starting up the world's tiniest little law firm to try to do some good that will undoubtedly clash with the self-policing ways of the local bikers.

The worst part is, he can't even entirely disagree with those ways, because sometimes the law just isn't enough, however much he would like it to be.

Shit, he's only been home a couple of days and already it's getting into his head, God forgive him.

He doesn't go looking for Johnny, figuring that if the guy wants to see him, he'll show up eventually. At his office, or maybe even at his home. Every time he walks through the door, he almost half expects the guy to be there. The gang doesn't need an invitation to make themselves at home when they feel like it. ]
