[ So... that farm idea she'd been mostly against? Maybe it's not completely terrible. There's less to stress over, less complications now that there's a lull in the Avengers Tony had said he'd given up. Pepper still wants to work with him to build Stark Industries an even bigger, brighter name than it already has, but it's almost impossible to do that when she's staring out the window of a house not in Malibu or New York. Instead of ocean or city streets, there's grass. And trees. She likes the aesthetic but appreciates it more in art rather than in person, but Tony seems to have taken to it better than she'd expected. At least until he starts doing that thing that he does--the tinkering.

Then, Pepper's wandering her way across all that grass and out into a field to reach the barn.
