TRAPPED IN A ROOM FULL OF PUPPIES
This is pretty self-explanatory. Somehow, you and somebody else are trapped in a room full of puppies. There is no door. There are no windows. Don't ask how you got here, don't worry about finding a way out, just sit down, shut up, and play with the puppies. It's you, another person and about twenty or so rambunctious puppies. You can do pretty much anything you want in the room, but remember that there are twenty or so rambunctious puppies who love licking you and jumping on you and treating you as a personal chew toy. So yeah. I'd recommend keeping your clothes on.

Bonus points will be given to people who specify what breed of puppy is in the room. Super bonus points will be given to people who link to pictures or Youtube videos of said breed of puppy. Because c'mon you guys. Puppies.

"A closer look-" The technician gets, sounding like Jack must be losing his mind, but there's not a lot he can say against Jack's insane idea like going into a room with the Hulk without getting in trouble!

But they're discovering something surprising about the Hulk. Around the puppies, he seems to be infinitely more gentle when he touches them and the puppies seem to be very happy to play with the big green 'monster'. He currently has one chewing on his index finger on one hand (unable to get through that thick hide), has another two in his lap, and is slowly petting, with a single finger, another one that's rolled on its stomach.

However, when Jack comes in, his head comes up and he looks hard at the other, which makes several puppies look up at him.

Jack freezes and holds up his hands, as if to show that he's got nothing in them. The instant of tension is rather undercut by the low level of constant yips and snuffling sounds coming from the herd of puppies. Jack slowly breaks eye contact to look down at the puppies. Never gonna win a staring contest with the Hulk, and he doesn't want to.

He floofs his coat out behind him as he slowly sits down on the spot. A chocolate lab instantly comes over to investigate, thinks Jack's shoes smell fascinating. "Hello there." He reaches out to pet the dog, but is keeping a sly eye up at the much more interesting sight of the Hulk. This is cool, right, Big Guy? I can play, too?

There's a long stillness and silence from the Hulk before he snorts, then goes back to what he was doing. Each puppy is so small that he can pick one up in a hand, and he does so, bringing it nose to nose with him. When the pup starts licking him, Jack will hear something so weird that he might not even recognize it at first.

The Hulk is laughing. He's most definitely laughing, letting the puppy lick at him.

Oh. Oh, what's this? Jack pulls the squirming puppy all the way into his lap so he can look at the Hulk better, and that sound, it's something so unlike the Hulk. Jack has to stare for a second to make sure that's what he's hearing.

Nope, this is the cutest thing ever. Those tech guys outside had better be recording this for ~~blackmail~~ data.

The puppy is nosing at Jack's coat pocket, until it chases what it's after all the way off his lap, and whatever it found makes a high-pitched squeek. Yip? The puppy pulls away, startled, then braces, tail in the air, and nose very close to Jack's coat. Sniff sniff sniff yip? The telltale sound of a squeaky toy has caught the attention of quite a few of the other puppies, as well.

The squeaky toy actually startles the Hulk for a moment, leaving him to frown down at Jack as he tries to figure out what it is. In a way? He's acting almost exactly like the puppies with just a slightly different body language. So now Jack has one Hulk and several puppies all eagerly waiting for him to pull out the toy.

Or the Hulk will end up pulling it out for him, really. Spare your coat, Jack.

Jack giggles at the puppy for a second, and waggles a hand to tease it. "Where is it? You want it?" Oh, but he has the attention of a much larger playmate who probably wouldn't react well to teasing. So, okay. He digs into his pocket to reveal a red and purple rubber ball. He squeezes it with his hand to let it squeak again.

There is a flood of yips, and there are suddenly more of the puppies running over to Jack than he expected. "He-hey, hey!" Laughing, and trying to hold it up out of reach, as the dogs spill over each other to get to it. They all pop up one at a time, rearing up onto hind legs, only to fall over again quickly.

"Ball?" He waves it again, and then tosses it towards the far wall, letting it bounce and roll across the floor.

The puppies all go running after it on their hysterically uncoordinated legs, tails wagging. The Hulk doesn't get up, doesn't reach out for it, but he does watch it and after several seconds of the puppies' antics, he gives a wide grin.

"Ball." A single word, but more than the Hulk usually ever says and it's not even in response to something violent or aggressive and he's smiling on top of it. It's a weird sort of smile/grin/smirk, but it's obvious what it's supposed to be.

Jack is giggling even harder at the controlled chaos that follows one little ball throw. Excited barks punctuated by squeaks every time one of them lands on top of the ball, which only makes it bounce further away, only for the next pup to try, and chase it away instead of catch it. Jack slowly pulls himself up off the ground and carefully steps over. "Ah, ah," he reaches into the middle of the pile and snatches up the ball. Disappointed whimpers mix with more barks of anticipation. Ball?

Jack holds the ball out towards the smiling Hulk. The brand new smile on his face makes Jack grin right back. You want to try?

Did Jack Harkness really just offer the Hulk a projectile weapon? The technician in the observation booth nearly as a coronary on the spot but can't even get to the mic before the Hulk reaches out and takes it. His brow furrows, then he looks at the puppies who have discovered he has the ball and are sitting in eagerness for it to be thrown, all tail wagging and yipping and almost vibrating.

The technician dives for cover when the Hulk throws.

It does end up being way too hard, but too hard more for a human than the Hulk. It goes straight across the room in a hurry and ends up bouncing madly off the wall and floor, but it doesn't pop, doesn't leave a hole in the room, doesn't hurt the first puppy it hits when they all go running after it.

The Hulk looks very pleased about it.

Yes, yes he did, and oh is Jack amused at the results. He figured there was about a 50% chance that ball was ending up going straight through the window, sure, but it's funnier that it didn't. He shoots that amused grin at the window, and shrug as if he was powerless to stop everything, instead of the guy that set this whole thing in motion. Brat.

It takes the puppies longer to be able to stop the ball this time, it keeps bouncing off of each of them, and out of their reach, but that only makes them all more excited. Yip, yip, squeek, and it rolls further away. Two of the puppies from the back of the crowd can't get close, so they turn back around and sniff at the Hulk, as if trying to see if he has another ball? Ears and tail droop adorably, as one lays on the charm with a high-pitched whine.

The Hulk is watching the whole thing with what could be considered glee, eyes bright over his grin, but when the puppies come back over to him, he ends up frowning. His head tilts as he looks down at them, puzzled, before he reaches down with both hands and picks them up much to their confusion and each gets put into his lap. Well, his lap becomes a new playground for them to poke around in and one gets immediately lost in his legs.

While the rest of the puppies have managed to stop the ball and are fighting over it in a sea of wagging tails.

And here nobody thought the Hulk was even capable of thought like this. Jack is far more amused by the Hulk than the puppies for a moment, watching exactly how much care he is taking with the little guys. Maybe this is good for him, let him out when there's nothing dangerous going on, let him learn...

Or maybe this is just adorable. One of the pups has gotten control over the ball and can't quite pick it up, but can keep batting it with its nose and front paws to bap it over towards the Hulk. It's sticky in dog drool from attempts to pick it up, but still good, right? Squeak, as pup and ball both bonk into the Hulk's leg. The crowd behind him is again, sitting in anticipation, tails wagging into one another as bright eyes watch him. Again? Oh, that poor technician in the control room...

Who is recording this but is basically waiting to die or for hell to break loose. There isn't enough money in the world for this job right now. Maybe it's a bit like a train wreck; he can't look away.

But the Hulk hardly cares about doggie drool and picks up the ball, holding it up. All the puppies follow the movement of the ball, which ends up with him moving it back and forth to get the puppies to follow it with their heads. He grins even more, then gets the urge to finally throw it.

This time though, he throws it hard enough that it does leave a bit of a dent, but it bounces right back towards him. So now the puppies are running back and forth as the Hulk plays catch with himself, sort of, with all the puppies trying to get the ball in the air.

Jack's eyebrows raise at the new dent in the drywall, left there with a squeaky thump. He bursts into giggles as the Hulk repeats the motion, and it drives the little pups into action. Oh, so mean, as the puppies race back and forth in a line, rearing up one at a time to try to get at the ball. They all completely miss, but that doesn't stop any of them from trying, completely excited by the game.

Awww, wanna play too. Jack holds up his hand once after the Hulk catches the ball again. "Ball?" Another glance at the dent in the wall. Is that your final answer, Jack?

The Technician up there has practically resigned as he is not going to be responsible for the death of a guest of Mr. Stark. He has 911 on speed dial.

The Hulk looks at the ball and Jack, and while he isn't stupid as he's more than proven, it takes him time to learn new things. He does manage to put two and two together though and throws it. At the same sort of pressure he'd thrown it at the wall.

Pow! There isn't even time for Jack to realize the critical error he's made before the ball thuds straight past his hand and into his chest, knocking him backwards. No time to recover his breath before insult added to injury, every one of the pups begins barking excitedly as they have their opening, and all of them flood over Jack now that they can reach the ball!

Jack takes a deep breath in, only to lose it again as the flurry of fur and paws runs him over. "Ah- hey, watch it- tickles..." Giggles. One has planted itself right on Jack's chest and starts licking at his face. He's pretty well penned-in, and he can't quite sit back up immediately. He tries, only to find that two more are standing on the coat. "Hey..." Poke. Pooooke. Mooove. He's going to be finding his coat for weeks. As he raises his head to look at the very amused Hulk, though? Worth it.

The technician is up there, almost unable to believe that Jack lived getting pegged in the chest by the Hulk. The Hulk is laughing, that weird sound that doesn't sound quite right but its definitely some form of a laugh. He stands up and walks over, leaning over Jack and the horde of puppies.

Then he sat down with a hard thump that sent half the puppies falling from the small shockwave.
