Let's hope you're not squeamish. Even if you are, you're going to have to power through it, because your crush, significant other, lover, or fellow practitioner in romantic tension has been battered and bruised. The degree of severity, from a minor scrape to a life-threatening injury, can vary, as can the reason - they may even be hurt because of you. If that's the case, you have all the more reason to tend to their wounds with your own two hands.

No one can take care of them like you can.

Bust out the bandages, even if they don't want you to worry over them or can't believe that anyone would. Though it's not your intention, if you're genre savvy, you may know that your best Florence Nightingale may be the final push if you're not together-together.

That's assuming if you both don't pass out from botched first aide before any of that happens. Don't forget that a kiss to make it better is critical!

"I'm fine..." He huffs a little "You took a beating out there..." He says kissing Matt's neck a little. "Don't talk about fingering..." He laughs a little trying to lighten the mood a bit. "But by all means clean me up, not gonna say no to your hands on me, horn head." He pauses for a moment and licks his lips a little, "Hey at least we aren't out cold this time around..."

"Sorry I thought that was better then admitting I needed to feel myself up," Matt says with a slight grin. He leans up as best he can and starts running his hands over Clint's muscles as gently as he can. "Tell me when the pain gets bad."

Clint hisses at his shoulder and ribs... "Shoulder and ribs are the worst, road rash on the side hurts like a bitch, but is only pulling like a 4, the others are at like a 7..." He says more honest with Matt then he is with the doctors.

"You got the rib wrap," Matt asks holding out a hand calmly, "I'll get them tight after I lotion up the road burn."

"Thought we weren't supposed to wrap, ribs anymore..." He snorts but digs it out and hands it over, and starts cleaning a small cut on Matt's chest. "We've been worse off." He smiles though.

"I believe the phrase was, if you two insist on breaking a rib every time you go out you can wrap them," Matt jokes as his gentle hands rub lotion into Clint's skin. "Medical just rolls their eyes at us mostly."

"True, but I thought they said it was dangerous..." He shrugs letting out a soft breath at the feel of the lotion being rubbing into his skin, body starting to relax.

"It is," Matt says, "but I think we've gotten so good at it at this point they don't bother trying to warn us anymore."

"If I puncture a lung, I'm blaming you..." He teases melting into the touches... "Should have waited to wrap me up though... now we can't take a bath." He says breathing slow and easy because even breathing hurts... "Can we just cuddle up in bed..."

"I think cuddles are a perfect idea," Matt agrees softly, "neither one of us are up to getting in or out of the tub at the moment. Bath can wait until tomorrow."

He pushes himself up and helps Matt up and moves slowly to the bedroom, and folds back the bedding, "Still can't believe you paid this much for sheets..." He teases a little, rolling into bed.

Matt makes his best grumpy face at his boyfriend. "You try sleeping on sheet less then three hundred count with skin like mine and see how cranky you get," he teases.

Clint laughs and licks Matt's cheek jokingly before burrowing under the blankets and sheets and curling around a pillow. "Get your ass in here." He laughs sleepily.

Matt pulls back the sheets on his side of the bed and joins his boyfriend with a laugh, spooning right up next to him like the furnance Clint is. "Mmmmm nice and warm."

Clint carefully snuggles up with Matt letting out a slow breath. "You should get your blood checked... your always cold." He teases, breathing gingerly because of the wrap.

"Guess it's because I'm so thin," Matt says, "I always feel the cold more than anyone else." He nuzzles Clint's neck. "That's why I need you...well one of many reasons anyway."

He laughs a little, "You're not as thin as you think." He teases pulling the blankets tighter around them, letting out a slow breath grunting a little, as his ribs ache.
