[Today is a rare day for both Joe and Sugane-- a day in which they both have no obligations. As such, it's become a lazy day. Joe's lounging around on the couch, and Sugane's doing something at his desk. Writing in his diary, maybe?

It's surprising how quickly a lazy day becomes a boring day. Joe's already given up on poking at his phone, and he sighs, long and drawn out. It's when he starts looking around for something else to occupy himself with that he sees the box of Pocky.

It's a little out of place, maybe, but Joe can't help but smile when he sees it. It's from when he first decided to give quitting smoking a shot; Sugane had been all gung-ho about it, and the next thing Joe knew, a bag of sweets had taken residence in Sugane's house. Other things for Joe to occupy his mouth with, apparently. (Sometimes, it's very difficult to resist pointing out Sugane's unintentional innuendos.)

He'd settled on lollipops, but there had been a variety of other snacks, like Paiman's beloved honey karinto, and Pocky.]
