[It probably wasn't a good idea to text people from the past, especially since Michael didn't quite know what time period Sariel would be at right now. He could be with his lovers, he could be fighting with Enoch, he could be imprisoned, he could have just been freed, he could be at any point in time.

But..even so, Michael wanted to do something for Sariel. If one thought about it, he was simply a man who loved his lovers, wives, children, and followers who had his heart in the wrong place. His limited experience with Human empathy and the way emotions usually worked hadn't helped him, just like they hadn't helped him when Enoch needed his help and support.

So, Michael thought that it would be nice if the Sariel from the past got some good news, even if he didn't believe him and even if he had to dodge around the painful task that God gave him when he became Zerachiel. Someone needed to hear something uplifting nowadays.]
