Rory hadn't followed The Doctor's plans at all. Instead he'd decided to try and rescue Oswin - and had snapped his own protective bracelet on Amy's wrist. At least Amy and The Doctor had got out of there, and he'd found Oswin before the Asylum had blown up.

Rory opened his eyes on a platform - with a beautiful woman standing beside him. "Oswin?" He blinked before working out where he was, and fished around in his pocket before pulling out a season ticket.

There's no pain now, and his shuffling steps have gotten steadier since he got on the train, scanning each seat and each cart for familiar faces. So far he's been relieved, so far there's been no-one, and damn if he hadn't expected to see Mike, at least. But no, they must've made it. Still, Josh keeps going, at this point not sure if there is a last cart, not caring if he feels raw on the inside from spending hours hallucinating things about as bad as what happened in the end, or if all he wants is to sit down and rest.

Whereever this train is going, his friends can't be on here, and he has to make sure. That - and he doesn't really want to give himself time to think right now. ]
