4. gift | a gift of food to feed on or a literal gift, you like to spoil the other.
5. dedication | you need the other to know how important they really are to you.

[Faith, in all of her sanctimonious glory, had come close to getting on Angelus's nerves. Well, there was that and the fact that there was something deeply satisfying in warping her, in robbing her of that hope of salvation she and Angel had worked so hard on.

He'd drunk deeply of her blood on that warehouse floor, then used his fangs to slash open his tongue and had kissed her, forcing both his and her blood through her lips as she struggled weakly beneath him. She was almost dead from blood loss - and soon now she'd be entirely dead, all he had to do was wait.

He loved to see her squirm.]

[There's a laugh in his voice as he pulls away and glances appreciatively over her.]

[ He'd spent months in pursuit. Once he'd seen, once he believed for himself SHIELD's intel, there'd been nothing anyone could do to talk him out of it. That had taken a while. He'd told himself it couldn't be true, that Bucky couldn't be this ghost they were chasing. This Winter Soldier. He knew his friend. He'd watched him fall to his death, and while the thing in the surveillance might have resembled him...

Something in his eyes was off. Wrong. If it was Bucky, then he was in trouble, and he wasn't going to wait to see what SHIELD would do about it. He'd go after him himself, and find out the truth. If it was Bucky, he'd find a way to help him, whatever it might cost. If not, he could put the memory of his friend to rest.

Now, in this darkened warehouse with a hand clapped to his bleeding side, he had time to reflect. He kept on alert, eyes darting with every flicker of a shadow in the gaping space beyond, tensed for the attack to come. Whether it was the Winter Soldier himself or his prey he couldn't be sure.

[Godric tended to spoil his child on a daily basis. He knew it was wrong, but how could he not reward Eric when he took to his vampiric nature like a duck to water or a wolf to meat? From the very first moment he had risen from the ground, Eric Northman, that strong and stubborn viking, had been impressing his maker by leaps and bounds.

Tonight, on their two hundredth anniversary, he had procured the rarest of all acquisitions. Faerie blood. It flowed rich and strong through a well-known priest who it was said could see events that hadn't happened yet. Such gifts were unusual in humans and Godric had gone off to investigate.

To make a long story short, he had made use of his young, boyish looks in luring the not-so-godly priest to his demise. Oh, he was alive and struggling against his restraints, but he wouldn't be for long as the older vampire awaited Eric's arrival in a well hidden cave on the outskirts of a town.

He was still dressed in his Sunday best, which honestly made him look more like a choir boy then a thousand year old blood thirsty beast]
