[Anything special you have in mind?]

[Nothing specific, but maybe some chilling post a game of Light v Dark or something?]

[Fine with me. Care to start us off?]

[If there was one thing Palutena could tempt him over for training with (outside just getting to fight Pit) it was desserts. Ever since he had joined up with the Forces of Nature (just as long as their goals matched up, anyways) his variety of food was more limited. Not that Viridi DIDN'T feed them, it was more that she was a stanch believer in her troops eating like the animals she protected.

So all fruit and meat. He loved meat but sometimes a guy just wanted some cake, okay? And whenever he DID get something sweet, Phosphora always managed to steal at least half of it. Not that he NEEDED an excuse to come beat up her troops, but it helped.

Especially when his team lost. It was a close fight, both teams having to resort to angels, and in the end Pit took it. He needed whipped cream and strawberries to soothe his annoyance. But at least the troops weren't AS embarrassingly awful as they used to be.

So he sat, watching the arena being cleaned up, eating his cake in contented silence. Prime for bothering by the victor.]

[And bother him, Pit would. Not that he means to. Pit was somewhat disappointed that Dark Pit chose to work for Viridi, especially after the two fought together during the Chaos Kin fiasco. But Pit supposed it was inevitable. Besides, Viridi hadn't been attacking the humans so he supposed it was okay.

After another game of Light Vs Dark (Which he won, of course), Pit had just come out of the locker room when he saw Dark Pit sitting alone. Being the friendly angel he was, he just couldn't let him sit alone. So, with that trademark smile, he walked up to Dark Pit and clapped him on the back.]

Good game, huh Pittoo?

[Inevitable indeed. He no longer hated Pit, but being around him TOO much was well, too much. And Viridi made an offer he couldn't turn down. For now.

[It's been said that repeating events in the same manner expecting a different outcome is a sign of insanity. Hector, for his part, can say that he and stable mental states only have a passing acquaintance to begin with, and all his show of petty, grandiose defiance has gotten him in the last year is an empty wallet and the need to move. Again.

But he's fair proven his point, hasn't he? He thinks so.

He'd packed, and half of the shit he'd tossed into this box or that isn't even his, belonging to his former (and...he supposes...current) roommate. And he'd been careful in that packing. Oh, not with peanuts to keep it safe, or bubble wrap, or to make sure nothing gets torn or damaged or broken, but in the sense that Jack's things are in their own boxes, clearly labeled (with the absolutely polite "Jack's Shit" in his awful chickenscratch handwriting) so that he doesn't mistakenly end up dragging something into his own room, and then ending up having to drag it right back out and put it against Jack's door.

There is, after all, not enough money in the world to get him to enter Jack's den of hipsterness.

He doesn't even understand how so many of Jack's things have even ended up in his solitary apartment, and while yes, it's true that Jack had showed up there quite often, Hector honestly can't remember him leaving things behind.

But it's one of these boxes he hauls up to the new apartment, full off all kinds of trinkets and useless stupidity (he honestly thinks he should have just tossed all of it and been done with it but he doesn't trust Jack to not remember where he'd left it, because Jack is contrary and half the time Hector thinks it's just to piss him off), and settles on the kitchen island with zero gentleness or consideration for what might be inside.

If Jack wants his things taken care of, Jack can do the taking care of them himself.]

Y'know, Jack, I'm wondering if this much of your crap was in my apartment, I'd hate to see what everyone else's looks like.

[ Turns out it's true that traumatic circumstances bring people closer together. And since the miracle of modern science has managed to mostly cure Josh of his terrible curse, he's now free and clear to do all that cool best friend stuff like watch movies and play Minecraft and shit.

Except Chris is like, kinda not speaking to him, so Josh's new BFF activity is... going to the mall. With Emily.

It's nothing like when he used to go with Hannah and Beth. Emily knows all these mall secrets, like how to get free samples and when stuff is on sale. Seriously, she has mall superpowers. Josh is still having trouble with like, sunlight and crowds, so he keeps his sunglasses on and his beanie pulled low, shoulders hunched in, but he still agrees to carry her bags. ]

If it wasn't for you, I'd uh... probably be sitting at home, in the dark, with the- with the same clothes on I wore for a week.

[It is also true that traumatic experiences can drive people apart, and Emily burned a bunch of bridges that night. Considering what happened, it's even more incredible that the person she kept close instead, is none other than Josh.

They were never really close even before everything, she tagged along as Mike's girlfriend and was friends with the girls, but she can't even remember having a real talk with him, other then small sort of ones.

And yet, when she learned that Josh had been found, she visited him at the hospital, and never even asked about his "prank", or whatever it was. Admittedly, sometimes she wants to, despite not having been part of it.

But back to the mall for a moment.]
