The Merry Maids of Multiverse

The economy being what it is, one can easily understand the need to find odd jobs to make ends meet on occasion. For those with a particularly daring bent and an open mind -- not to mention the means, accidental or otherwise, to reach the place -- the Interdimensional Temp Agency is there to provide for all of your jobbing needs, whether in this dimension or in another one altogether. Just be sure the job is appropriate to your skill level; it's really bad for their bottom line if their temps get killed, after all.
This meme can be taken one of two ways. The first one is your standard "roll-on-a-table" format, as follows:
GENERIC
1.) Babysitting: Kids? Dogs? Dragon eggs? Could be any of these. Either way, you need to make sure they're safe and fed. Although try not to feed YOURSELF to them.
2.) Office Temp: You know. Filing, typing, phone calls, collecting immortal souls -- wait, how'd THAT job get on there?
3.) Grunt Work: Somebody needs some warehouse workers. Somebody else needs someone to carry all their equipment as they go on a fantastic journey. Guess what you get to do.
4.) Gardening and Agriculture: GREEEEEEEN ACRES IS THE PLACE FOR ME.
5.) Delivery: Is it just me, or is that package ticking?
6.) Surveillance: Watching over things. Or watching out for things. Basic stuff.
7.) Substitutes: You're filling in for some job or another. Teaching? Soul reaping? Who knows, it varies.
8.) Wild Card: Anything I couldn't think of here.
However, there is a second option: Crafting a mission based upon a fandom you're in of your own making. This obviously requires a bit more thought and GMing, but if that's your sort of thing, it can actually be pretty fun. Of course, it could also be pretty basic if you want it to. Whatever works. The following jobs are, for example, what I've got to offer:
CANON SPECIFIC:
1.) GRAVITY FALLS: The mystery shack needs some temp hires to help out with the summer rush. You know, janitorial work, working the registers. ...What, we gotta pay you? Stupid work regulatory rules. And no, that thing in the corner didn't just move, shut up.
2.) TOUHOU PROJECT: How unusual. The shikigami of the house has actually fallen down ill, and needs some help with the basic household chores and shopping. Watch out for danmaku fairies.
3.) CAVE STORY: A witch needs someone to go search for herbs and the like in the Grasstown area. Clearly this is a safe and easy mission that anybody can enjoy.
4.) SKYRIM: We've been trying to deliver this package to a Mr. M'aiq for eons, but we can't seem to find him. It's like he never stays in one place for very long for some reason. Maybe you'll have better luck?
5.) ACE ATTORNEY: Gatewater land needs a few more people to don badger costumes for the latest Badger Photo Rally. We REALLY hope somebody doesn't get killed on the premises this time.
6.) MAKE YOUR OWN SCENARIO: In your first reply, put up the details of your mission and run it yourself! Fun for the whole family.
Have fun! It's a little extra work, but sometimes a little break is nice.

When he arrived in Gravity Falls though, The Doctor found a scene very different from what he imagined. Stanford's supposed residence and lab was some sort of fictional museum. The man he met when he knocked and asked for Stanford was not the genius of science he expected to say the least. Still, he was determined and volunteered himself as an employee.]

He's nice, at least, based on the fact he's come in with a cold soda he passes to her.]
Sorry there's so much of it. How's it going so far?
no subject
....Thanks for the soda, dude. [She accepts it graciously, at least, setting it down on some documents that should probably not be used for a coaster.]
Oh, it's going, alright. Lot's of cases here. Weird ones, too.
no subject
Whoa, careful there. Guess I need to do some dusting around here too.
Yeah, weird is on par for the course, I'm afraid. Any stand out in particular?

Something about a ghost haunting a convenience store?

[Which she doesn't.]
It's not.... real though, right?

They were actually haunting the hot dog maker.

What's with that?

Megas thanks for volunteering for this! We don'ts usually go for bodyguards stuff, but the opening of this department store tonight is megas important, and the Tsuruya family wants to make sure nobody tries anything fishy. Especially when their only daughter is a huge babe, ya know? Hahaha! Don't worry, I bets it'll be pretty boring so you can just enjoy all the party food.

For real?!! What kind o' food is there?!

...let alone that said person doing the entering was a ten year old boy. Anyway, they're still setting up the equipment, leaving you two some "getting to know each other" time.]
So, uh, is the sword real, or...

I hope you do a much better job than the LAST pathetic excuse for a gardener they sent me. Last fool damn well nearly killed himself and everybody nearby trying to pull out a mandragora without any form of ear protection! Such a blithering idiot. I trust YOU have more sense, at least?

You're quite the strapping young man, aren't you? Probably get into your share of fistfights. Hmm. I'm guessing you're not much for diplomacy, right?

Depends what kind.
[The talking kind? Not so much. Something more physical? Yeah, he can do that.]
