[Christine's usually reserved and quiet friend seems to have completely vanished tonight behind the spectacle that was his lavish, Red Death costume. Gone was the skulking, tonight he reveled in a rare opportunity to fit in among the rabble as they all celebrated. He played his part perfectly, starting off with an appearance on the grand staircase that brought the party to a halt, leveling a damnation upon the merry-makers for their lavish display above the catacombs below, but punctuated it with pardon that set the party back in motion.

[Well this is certainly a bizarre way to introduce servants and masters to each other before getting to the gruesome business of actually fighting one another. Saft had actually received an invite to a masquerade ball much to her confusion, as well as a dress and mask.

It wasn't normally the kind of thing she'd attend or want to, Especially if it meant she'd have to dress herself up. But here she is. Arm linked with her servant. Making their way into whoever had decided to host such an event's ball room. This could prove to be an interesting way to spend an evening anyhow.]

...I don't get it.

( yeah okay, masked balls were nice and all that but jupiter was convinced that they also made people a whole lot messier. maybe it was the whole being masked thing no one carried if they were sloppy - no one could label them as it.

so while everyone else was wearing pretty outfits with pretty masks, jupiter was tasked to clean up the mess and right now she was cleaning up after someone who had been drunk and sick all over the floor. )

Great, just... great. This is so how I wanted to spend my evening, again.
