We have the TFLN, the misfired texts and the sexting, but what about just texts?

You want to text that person, for whatever reason. Because you need to ask something, because you forgot to tell them something, because you miss them. Because you are in danger, because you need to know where they are or simply because you want to share this fact or story that's hilarious and can't wait another minute to be shared.

Serious, romantic, scary, funny, you pick the reason. Just text!

I suppose you know him better than I do. Just try to keep it in the fights? [At least then no one would get seriously hurt. How they all can survive explosive crates and laser guns is a miracle.]

At least we won't have to worry about hearing it from Ness and Sheik. [One is just an agreeable child and the other hardly speaks during battle at all.]

And yeah yeah, no trouble in the halls, got it. [It's just text, but the Trainer can probably “hear” him waving his hand dismissively. Blah blah blah. He'd be putting a wing in his face at the moment if they were in the same area.]

Just don't say it at all; Ness'll probably run off telling it to everyone out of some “friendship” effort.

Friendship effort?

You mean you don't want to make friends?

[Despite not being able to see one another, the trainer smiles anyway as if to say "oh, you."]

[He's seen it plenty of times and he still doesn't subscribe to it as his first choice. And stop with that look, you. He knows you're smiling like some big brother over there.]

[The trainer wonders if Dark Pit had been hurt before. It could take a few bad experiences to have that outlook, or even just one. A discussion about that should be done face to face, another time, and not over text.]

I hope ours is long lasting then. :)

[Although he wouldn't argue against being friends, but it'd be more rewarding to hear that from Dark Pit himself should it ever happen.]

[Well he is Pit's antithesis, and Pit's a very friendly, trusting guy... But Dark Pit's had his own past and it's not the prettiest out there, least of which being his own creation and all. Literally defined as “a flawed copy,” which'll piss almost anybody off. They can have that jaded conversation later.]

So far, you're neutral; I've got no real complaints.

[That's actually a compliment. Dark Pit's definitely not reluctant to their alliance tomorrow, but he's not about to get chummy right off the first shot. Still... points for not demanding he do yoga poses.]
