It's either on the cheek or lips, and if you want a kiss on the lips it's generally customary to put in a bit more.

Let's go ahead and save first base for the second date. [It was a dumb attempt at humor, but he had a hard time imagining anyone in Chris' position getting a kick out of this sort of thing.

A twenty dollar bill is offered up for whatever charity Chris' family was currently representing. He didn't want to insult the guy by pulling out singles, and it's not like Caleb didn't have the extra money to throw around. Twenty seemed fair for a kiss on the cheek.]

Response kind of depends on who you are, I guess. Got a lot of teen girls giggling - and those were just kisses on the cheek. My honourary Uncle made damn sure I grew up knowing the ins and outs of the law.

[He's not really sure how to take that. His first reaction is that Chris must have a delinquent streak. Caleb could be guilty of the same from time to time, and some the company he usually kept definitely went out of their way to stick it to authority every so often. He's still intrigued by the idea that someone outside of the covenant might possess magic though, so--]
