*Was this sincerity? People from outside the Isle were weird. Still... a part of her did wonder what it was like. Just doing something good, just to understand what the big deal was. So long as her mom never found out.*

*She's such a smooth talker, with her dragonfire green eyes and death threats. But she did diposit 50 munny into the jar.*

Well... yeah, pretty much. And when you're nice to people sometimes you make new friends, too.

[Honestly he's kind of really surprised she decides on giving munny (especially after threatening him, geez) and for a second he's grinning and tapping the jar like he's totally forgotten what this booth is about, just happy to have something in the jar.]

Oh, right. You-- We're-- ...They didn't tell me how this was supposed to work.

[His excitement about the munny has deflated and now he's just embarrassed. Was he supposed to kiss her, or wait for her to kiss him, and did it matter where? Nobody had told him.]

Uhhh, would the cheek... be okay, or--?

*Mal looked like she just ate something sour at the word 'friends,' good job. You're doing great to convince her not to do nice things.*

So you agreed to something you have no idea how to handle?

*Mal was looking a little uneasy, maybe it had to do with the fact she had no idea how this was suppose to go either. Not that she could really let that one out of the bag.*

[Her attempts at antagonism don't really work on this boy, the type to see and hear the good before the bad. He tilts his head slightly, just considering her last statement.]

Well, I think that's pretty fair for 50 munny...

*She needs to stop running into these cheesy boyscout goodie goodies...* I guess. I'd rather know what I'm doing before I do it. *Why can't she break you!? This isn't fair!* I don't exactly come from someplace with kissing, or good deeds, so do whatever.

[There were places that existed without good deeds? Doesn't sound like anyplace Sora would want to go, but no matter. He's not exactly a kissing expert here either, and cheek kisses are about the only thing he has any experience with, so it's what she's getting.

But he's going to look very embarrassed while doing it. And sort of... lean halfway out of the booth to press a kiss to her cheek. And nearly fall out of the booth in the process. He catches himself, though! There's no falling!]

*Mal was too busy trying to... figure out what her feelings were on this, so she didn't even think to laugh at Sora's near faceplant in his efforts. It was... weird. It felt all warm and like she wasn't alone against the world. Such a strange unnerving feeling.* So that's what kissing is all about? *But it wasn't bad, in any way... so that's... something?*
