[Soft mattresses were something he was convinced he'd never get used to, even if there were a better alternative to the rough, splintering wood of an old bed frame against his back. But it's hard to get comfortable when he feels himself sink into the thick pad, difficult to shift around when he's brushed up between a wall and another lithe body, feeling chilled skin against his hand where a hoodie's been brushed up.

Sliding long calloused fingers off from that bare abdomen, Hiccup groans as he rises on an elbow, cursing under his breath as a peg leg accidentally bangs up against the wall behind him. I could make this work, or he hopes so as he attempts to reangle himself more onto his side to make himself fit more properly but all it does is set up an ache in his hip from the awkward position, an unintended whine slipping out as he wobbles backwards turning the wall more into his resting place than anything.

Pursed lips, he sighs deeply from his nose, head pressed up against the plaster.] Yeah, this isn't working.

As far as inns went it was actually really nice for the price. The room looked like something Lucy would put together; homey and filled with books. The bed even looked super comfortable. Normally, he might, key word, offer to let Juvia have the bed and he would take the floor, but he hurt from the mission the two of them just went on, and wanted to sleep on the nice comfy bed.
