STRANDED ON AN ISLAND MEME

How did it happen? Maybe your airplane was brought down by a mysterious electromagnetic pulse. Or your boat collided with a reef. Or your dragon pulled a muslce and had to make an emergency landing. Or the Love Boat decided you were a hopeless case and marooned you to die.

It doesn't matter, all that matters is you suddenly find yourself on a deserted island, with nothing but sand, sea, and whatever shipwreck/planewreck/dragonwreck washed up with you. What do you do?

How To Play

3. Have fun, and try to escape!

1. Build a signal fire.
2. Forage for food.
3. Try to lasso a sea turtle.
4. Build a raft to escape.
5. Spell HELP on the beach.

7. Get the sand out of your-- Look there's sand everywhere, okay?
8. Get your supplies back from the monkey that stole it.
9. Run away from the cannibals.

I have no idea. Doesn't make much sense. [he really has no idea why anyone would, but something has to be blocking Roxas's powers.]

[ Well, if it's anything like his own experience of getting trapped in a place, then it's probably not good. ]

[ Roxas kind of steps harder in certain places, wondering if there's a hidden bunker or something like in one of the movies he's seen with Hayner, but so far just more sand. ]

Definitely not like the movies, I guess.

Sunset. We should probably find a place to sleep since I doubt we'll get out of here anytime soon.

Yeah. Doesn't look like it'll rain or anything so we should be fine.

Yea. [Neku walks over to what looks like a good spot and sits, sighing and tugging on his hair as he looks up at the sky.]

[ Roxas takes a moment to debate where he should make himself comfortable, not wanting to be too far away from Neku in case something could happen but also not wanting to get in the other's space. They may be friends but he still understands having a comfort zone. Still...

He plops himself in a patch of grass, just a couple of feet away from Neku, just deciding to with this for now. ]

I bet it'll look nicer here.

[Neku turns to look at him, frowning.] What will?

[ He gives a slight grin, pointing up to the sky. ] The stars. They're harder to see in the city, right?

[needsmorezippers]

...Right. [Neku looks up at the sky, leaning on the ground, looking up at the stars. They are pretty nice...]

[ There's something vaguely familiar about sitting on an island and looking up at the stars, but he brushes it off as he didn't want to sink into those thoughts. Here it's simple, or as simple as their situation could allow for. ]

Think we'll get to see a shooting star?

[ Maybe if they did, they could wish themselves off the island. A long shot but hey, who's judging. ]

Maybe. That'd be nice. [He doesn't think the wish will work either, but they're kind of out of ideas....]

You know, I've never actually seen one before. [ So either way, it'd be a new experience for him. Childish, sure, but there's a lot of things that he hasn't experienced before. ]

I'm not sure I have either.

[The only time he really pays attention is at festivals, after all, and then there are usually fireworks.]

Maybe you have but you don't remember?

[ In which case, it could be the same for Roxas but he's pretty sure the stars couldn't be seen in Twilight Town, no matter how late he stays there. ]

It would be more than I couldn't tell.

Your world's a city, right? If it's anything like the other one, I guess I can understand if you couldn't.

Ah, well. There's this other city that's always dark but. Whenever I looked into the sky, I couldn't see any stars.

[ Probably because of the very large heart-shaped moon like object there, but details. ]

Really? That's weird. You can't really see the stars in Shibuya because of all the lights.

[ A soft hum. ] I guess the best way to see the stars is if you're not in the city. Or going through space.
