[It wasn't supposed to happen like this. Well, to be fair, this wasn't supposed to happen at all. Ever. They both knew the limits of what was required of each other. They tried their best to avoid danger zones. Moments when they were left raw and utterly exposed. Emotionally vulnerable. Near death proclamations of love aside, she and Obi-Wan managed well enough to keep the flames of their passion quite smothered. It was easy when they were both too busy to have a moment alone.

Until last night. They met up outside the city and shared a few drinks. Not entirely unlike previous encounters. Although usually Anakin was at his side or she had a flurry of diplomats to appease. They were well and truly on their own. She thought they could behave like civilized adults instead of lovesick, star crossed teenagers.

She awoke in her chambers within the Senate like any other morning. Save for the pounding headache and the warmth of a male body pressed against her backside. For a moment she couldn't even move. She had to shake the cobwebs from her mind to recall how the night had ended, although if the sore and well used sensation coursing through her body said anything, she already knew.

The bittersweet thought in her head was that she couldn't remember last night. Likely the only night together they would ever have...because she had no qualms about Obi-Wan's sense of honor and integrity]

They'd met in the most predictable way possible. There were multiple homicides in Starling City recently. The police and the feds had been collecting the bodies the left behind - but were clueless as to the perpetrators of the crimes. Dean of course knew exactly what was going on: vampires. He tracked them to an old warehouse, but was surprised to find the fighting had started without him. It was there he met Starling City's Vigilante, the Hood, the Arrow.

Together they tag-teamed their way through the vampires until the two stood alone. After that point, the night got... blurry. Dean knows they talked, they had some drinks while Dean explained about vampires and the host of other supernatural weirdness out there.

Next thing Dean knows, he's waking up with someone's arm around him. A strong, muscular arm. He looks around to get his bearings - trying to figure out whose bed he's in right now.

Dark Passenger had never used inebriation to take the wheel, but here they were, The Morning After, and Dexter hung over and in need of a shower.

He sits up despite the pulsing headache, trying to figure which direction the bathroom was in, and if his feet could get him there.

[ One of the most fascinating things about Earth, Nadass found, was how their deities still walked among them, if you knew where to look. Nadass hadn't intended to spend the night with the personification of death, but they shared a few glasses bottles of wine, and one thing led to another, and... Well. So long as she didn't wind up dead the next morning, everything would be okay, wouldn't it?

Thankfully, Nadass blinks awake, very much still alive, to find the other side of the bed empty, rumpled sheets left behind where Thanatos had been. She hears the sound of running water coming from the adjoining bathroom, and slips out of bed to investigate. ]
