COOL VS AWESOME MEME!

Zombies vs Robots! Pirates vs Ninjas! Dinosaurs vs Aliens! Vampires vs Werewolves! Alone they're cool. Together they're awesome!

We all like to speculate who'd win in a fight between all sorts of types of characters and races, sensibly or not. Now in this meme your characters are caught in the middle of this battle of awesome. Or maybe they're on one side or the other, willingly or not. Or maybe those factions are working together against you! Whatever the case see whether your characters can survive or emerge the victor!

Just make a post with your character and a optional background if you feel ties to any particular group, then responders pick two groups from the Who list or randomise it and a situation from the How list and muse it out, simple! (Oh and don't question how one faction can handle the other, here they're both badass.)

Who

1. Robots! Captains of industry built the robots, and then the robots killed them all and made the process even more efficient! With robots big and small, bulky and sleek, what they all share is a honed talent for extermination! Organic life be warned!
2. Ninjas! Stealthy sneaky fellows with a talent for disguise and surprise! Mind out those flying stars and martial art prowess! Remember, if you can see a Ninja, you're probably already dead. (Unless you're a Zombie and all.)
3. Aliens! These guys probably don't come in peace, if the ray guns and lasers from the flying saucers gave you any clue. They might have mind powers with those big squishy heads of theirs.
4. Cowboys! Ye hah! With a fistful of dollars and a horde of colts at the hip to shoot from, these boys and gals bring their though survival of the hard west ways to get them out of most pickles! Hope your riding skill matches theirs!
5. Vikings! For Asgard! Odinson or not these fearsome raiders have their axes and not so magic hammers and their sailing prowess, and they're berserk enough to cause any beardless trickster problems!
6. Ghosts! Wooooooo! These spectres drip and go bump in the night and if they don't scare you to death will likely throw a couple of things at you to get your attention. How exactly do you kill them, anyway?
7. Werewolves! From howling at the moon, to cowing their pack, or ripping through town, the werewolves are here to assert their place as the alphas of this conflict! Use silver bullets as made available.
8. Spies! Suave yet deadly, the men and women of this world spanning organisation are primed to be shipped out anywhere with hitmen and professional operatives aplenty. You best not be their double 0!
9. Dragons!Raging fire and ice breath from the skies, those winged beasts hunt for treasure, royalty and fresh meat, sometimes all at once! There's no Dragonborn to hand, so you'll have to do.
10. Pirates! Arrrr! You know what's better than roving the high seas? Roving anywhere ye want! And rum! Pirates buckle their swashes in every port, and ye'll walk the plank or face the cannon if you don't like it yeh land lubbers!
11. Spartans! Prepare for Glory! These fearsome warrior men of the great Greek state fear no one. Three hundred or three thousand their swords and spears and aggressively muscled chests are at the ready whatever the enemy! Tonight we dine in Hell!
12. Giant Insects! The future of atomic energy was never supposed to have this disastrous effect! Mutant insectoids spill out from giant hills, intent on destroying our homes and all else that stands in their colony’s way!
13. Zombies! It's hard to keep a good walker down. Zombies just keep coming back, and sometimes they come in waves. And there's that vacant stare and the shuffling (unless they're those dumb but fast guys). Voodoo, magic or science, they all want your warm, yummy brainssssssssss.
14. Gangsters! All right ye bums, we got some wise guys who think they're tougher than us, but bust open with them tommies and those clowns will be sleeping with the fishes before the sun comes up, caprice?
15. Vampires! From the dark gothic recesses of ancient brooding castles, draped in black velvet, and probably listening to Bauhaus, the children of the night come to drink deep! Grab your garlic and stake and... I dunno, whatever desparkles those particular Twlight'y vampires.
16. Dinosaurs! Usually big and scaly and unpleasant, these guy and gals might have brains the size of peas (unless they those smart sharp clawed pack types) but they know how to cause destruction, plant or meat eaters!
17. Mummies! Kinda like Zombies but with bandages and dark magicks, they're cursed to wander the hot sands and dark pyramids until they seek the means to true immortality!
18. Killer Plants! Feed them, Seymour! (Don't do it Seymour!) Because these guys grow all on their own, and they're hungry for more than plant food. Hope you brought your garden shears.
19. Orcs! Uglier than the pits of Petoria, but they known how to tackle manflesh and threats worse than them with their vast army! They're grabbing the warpaint and reading their bows and axes faster than you can say Moria!
20. Wizards! Presto! They just keep pulling things out of their hats, so watch their hands. Or their hats... or that big portal to another reality they just opened in your kitchen.
21. Cossacks on Bears! Because horses weren't badass enough for these guys. So you're pretty much borscht. You can run away from them. Or you can get killed. Sometimes you get both. Just count yourself lucky that the bears aren't also riding sharks.
22. Cyborg Apes! In a daring raid on a top secret research facility, apes stole the latest in cybernetic enhancements, and are now enacting their centuries-old plan to take over the world! Basically Caesar got robo parts.
23. Mad Scientists! It's alive, it's alive! Mad Scientists, intent on unlocking the mysteries of life, have instead released death in the form of powerful creations! But hey, they probably don't care cause you know, mad scientists.
24. Amazons! Great Hera guide us! These Warrior Women are a Wonder to behold when working together with their shields and swords and fearsome flying Pegasus's! You doubt you can beat Athena's finest, right?
25. Anything! What crazed insanity can your Mun Minds imagine emerging to face you?!

How

1. Default! Two groups are battling it out and your characters are stuck in the middle battling both! Can you stop both groups, or maybe play one against the other?
2. Fellow Alliance! Your characters are both working with one side to beat the other, chose one or pick at random! You can either pick to be simply working with that group or AU yourself as they type of character - congrats, you're a pirate/ninja/robot/zombie now!
3. Rivalry! You two characters are on opposing sides of the Awesome conflict! Again you can be yourselves simply working with that group or AU'd to be one of them, but this side you're fighting each other as well!
4. Awesome Alliance! Uh oh, looks like those two groups aren't fighting each other, they've teamed up to fight YOU! Your characters will need to survive against two allied groups at the same time!
5. Merged Alliance! Like 4 but this time the two groups are one and the same with abilities and skills of both sides! Zombie Pirates! Vampire Ninjas! Mummy Cossacks! It's insane but it's happened, so do your best to survive!
6. Smash Up! Ok now things have gotten really crazy, because the two groups you picked are allied together to beat two MORE groups you can pick now! Dinosaurs and Aliens vs Zombies and Pirates? Either your characters are allied with one duo group or trying to survive against all of them!
7. Anything goes, make up your own idea!
