Fell Asleep on Meme

sweet dreams.
Someone, whether it be a friend or a total stranger, has fallen asleep on you wherever you happen to be; you are a rather comfortable pillow to them.
What do you do?

So Maxwell brought along three additional companions, Dorian having the honor of being among his number. Being out in the snow was abysmal, but every now and then they would come across a hovel to protect against the elements which was where Maxwell was presently. It was a small space, big enough to stand up in, big enough to hold two of their party at a time. The other two were off scouting which leaves Dorian alone with the rogue, standing in the small space.
Though one could only stand for so long before feeling the drowsing effects of the chill and the howling wind outside cause him to feel rather heavy. In times like this you took your rest where you could get it and Maxwell had developed a gift for it, even standing. So it's no surprise, at least not to him that he was able to find seep even as he stood on his own two feet. Though after some time the Inquisitor began his subtle tilt towards Dorian leaning against him as his sleep deepened.]

The snow was exasperating at best and Dorian was inclined to continue his grumbling, up until he was left alone with Maxwell. He bit his tongue when he noted the man's fatigue. There was a moment when he debated on sitting outside, keeping watch for the others and letting the Inquisitor have his rest alone. A gust of icy wind that bit down to the bone drove him back into their shitty little shelter before long though, and eventually just took up a leaning stand beside the niche Maxwell had found for himself.
And now, he himself was a leaning post. With a quiet huff, Dorian looked back around to observe the other man in his stupor. It was rare that he saw the man so tired, even after they'd started getting...friendly.]
I still don't understand how you could possibly be comfortable enough to sleep like this...
no subject
He was warm. He practically radiated northern heat, that's half the reason he never let the man out of arms length and the reason why he chose the mage to be his partner each time. Oh sure, the others talked, but if they knew just how warm Dorian was then the jig would be up and he would have to share.
He didn't really want to share.
Even in the drowsy state of his exhaustion Maxwell could hear Dorian's complaints...this was the side of his companion he found most precious to be honest. He couldn't resist curling his lip into a sleepy smile.]
You're lovely...and warm...helps quite a bit...
no subject
That still doesn't explain the sleeping while on your feet. Come...
[Dorian's arm wrapped around Maxwell's shoulder and he drew him out of the niche, then down toward the floor. They could sit and share in the warmth this way.]
You are ridiculous, I hope you know that.
[Even as he said it, a soft smile tugged at his own lips and the other hand came up, his finger lighting briefly at Maxwell's chin then falling away to help him down to sit on the ground. The floor was warped and bound to be just as uncomfortable as being stuck standing would have been, but at least it was more stable, and if necessary Maxwell could lie down, nap off the cold.]

S'a gift...'m a grab bag of...amazing...talents...
[It came out slurred and mumbled, but at least there was evidence that he was, at least, paying attention somewhat. For the most part, however, he was a puppet in Dorian's hands, easing his body to the floor.]
Truer words were never spoken...
[He chuckled a bit at the finger against his chin as he allowed himself to be lowered, though he wasn't going alone. For now he was comfortable sitting comfortably in a nook, picking the most comfortable part of the floor to adjust himself against. Dorian was quickly tugged down after him, pulled snugly against the rogue's chest between his legs.]
...y' spoil me...

[Dorian smiled a little more widely, though he was thrown a little bit off-balance by Maxwell's tugging. How the man could be comfortable like this with the bulk of armor between them was beyond him, but as he leaned back against the man's chest he confessed that it could be worse. Reaching back and feeling around briefly, Dorian pulled one of Maxwell's arms over his shoulder, letting it rest there while his hand perched at the crook of his elbow, thumb dragging over the solid leather.
If the others returned in the near future the two of them were damned, but for now? This was nice. He could live with this.]
no subject
[Unfortunately they had no choice but to keep their armor on, he'd rather have himself and his companion dressed down to the minimum layers of clothing that wouldn't startle the rest of their party. Skin, warmth, more...would really be nice, but the best they could do was this, one arm draped around his shoulder, his other arm slid around Dorian's chest holding him snugly.]
...I'll make it up to you...
[He buried his face into Dorian's neck, breathing warm against the column of flesh.]
...anything y' like...
no subject
I'll hold you to that. Perhaps drinks...a nice dinner, somewhere quiet. If you can stand it for a little while without having to storm off into the wilds looking for something to kill.
[Dorian's hand slid back away from Maxwell's arm and his fingers strayed up through the other's hair, short, blunt nails running over his scalp and behind his ear. He let himself ease down a little bit, reclining against Maxwell and closing his eyes. He supposed he should try and catch a nap while the others were out, himself, and while this wasn't the coziest arrangement, it was easy enough to relax there with the other man wrapped around him.
This was nice. He had half a mind to suggest they do this a little more often, in the comfort of their own quarters.]

I've been very inattentive at the whole courting aspect of this, haven't I? Drinks and dinner in a quiet place, that I can do...I should draw you a nice bath and scrub your back...I haven't had a chance to do that yet. It would be nice to see you wet...intentionally.
[He could feel the weariness creep back into his body as Dorian combed his fingers through his hair and before he could stop himself he felt a soft moan bubble up from his chest. Yes, this was quite nice, and his head steadily dropped against the curve of the mage's neck and shoulder.]
no subject
[Dorian's cheek came to rest against the side of Maxwell's head, hand falling to rest against the side of his neck. Even if they weren't able to sleep, they could at least take the time to relax there for a little while.
With a quiet sigh, Dorian looked out at the wall opposite them, taking in the feeling of Maxwell's breath tickling across his neck and the bare part of his shoulder.]
Courting isn't exactly what I meant...you know that isn't something I- it's. It's not something I'd ask of you.
[He huffed, his hands coming to hang on Maxwell's wrist. It wasn't something he'd ever, ever expected or even wanted for himself. For all of his talking up of himself and his abilities and virtues, romance...well. It wasn't his forte.]
no subject
[Maxwell mumbled into Dorian's shoulder, he might not be able to get any sleep, but he was quite content to get as much rest just like this as he could. It wasn't often he found himself able to spend time alone with the other man.
Of course it also meant that this inevitable conversation would come up and he stiffened up a bit as he listened to what the other man was saying]
Sorry...sorry...I'm not trying to force you into anything...I can't say it doesn't twinge a bit, but I know what I am. So...I get it...what you're saying if you need me to step off a bit.
[Young, the Inquisitor, it probably made for a better fling than a relationship.]
I return from my long work day! Excuse me while I just long-distance hug Maxwell.
Dorian sat up some, looking back over his shoulder with a deep frown and furrowed brow.]
What are you babbling about? I don't care what you are. Sure, there might be some damning rumors flying around, but really. Since when have I been the type of man to give half a nug's arse about any of it? Really, I ought to smack you one.
[But he didn't. Instead, he turned in place so that he was sideways with his legs still curled outward, his hand coming up and taking gentle hold of Maxwell's chin, making him look up, locking eyes with him when he could.]
Nothing you've done has made me unhappy. I may not always trust your judgment, but you've never made me regret any of this, or feel forced into anything.
[His hand moved away after that, slipping around to rest against the back of Maxwell's neck. His forehead came to lean against the other's as a soft huff of a chuckle left his lips.]
I only meant that this is strange, for me. You know I don't expect anything, nor do I want to be wooed. I simply want time with company nearly as charming as my own.
I've been traveling all day so I udestand long days oi
[He couldn't help flitting his eyes elsewhere briefly knowing he couldn't avoid it and he didn't really want to avoid looking at Dorian, he just felt like such a novice and he knew it was showing.]
If it helps I don't always trust my judgment either...I listen to my gut and hope that it's right. Sometimes it is...and sometimes it isn't...like now, I'm just glad I haven't made you regret anything.
[Maxwell tightened his hold on the mage just a bit, his nose brushing along side his companion's nose. He really should be more honest about his own intentions, he knew that, but his intentions weren't casual, or even in the same realm.]
I suppose we're in the same boat there...but I am getting attached, I want you to know that...
*rolls in gurgling after being utterly destroyed by Hot Dog Day at work* I am slain by wieners.
How could you not?
[Joking tone, keeping with his usual 'of course you adore me, I'm me' thing, but there was genuine affection there. His lips pressed to the other's neck, before he finally withdrew and turned back around to resume his former position reclining against Maxwell's chest.]
And now that we've gotten the egregious amount of sap out of the way, I think a nap is in order.
sounds like a good time
Well you do make it difficult, I'm sure you realize.
[Though behind that joking tone Maxwell wasn't entirely sure he realized just how serious the rogue was, even as he was keeping it as light as he could given the topic. Though maybe he wasn't aware of just how serious the inquisitor was.]
A nap would be nice, but you've also made that difficult.
no subject
[While Dorian was well aware that he wasn't making this any easier on either of them, he wasn't exactly sure how he should be going about this. Love wasn't exactly something he'd ever believed was within the possible outcomes for him, and this was very quickly turning into just that.]
All joking aside, I am interested to hear what you would have happen now. If there were a warm bed and candlelight I'm sure I could think of something, but this is quite outside of my broad range of experience.
no subject
[The rogue quipped, suggestively nudging the back of the other man's neck with his nose. In spite of this, if Dorian left it to him, if he didn't outright reject Maxwell, but took no initiative to push for more, then the Inquisitor could pursue him with all of the persistent cunning of a harpy.]
Hold on...my mind is in the gutter, you...are you interested in what I would have happen in our relationship?
no subject
[His smile betrayed him, but the idea of having a serious talk about where they stood to together was, while not exactly his favorite option on the list of things they could possibly do with their time here. Before either of them could think too deeply on the subject, he reached back again to draw the tips of his fingers across the side of Maxwell's neck, in just the way he knew could make him squirm.]
But yes, what would you have happen?
