Kieran is a smart boy. Unusually insightful, at times sharing information that even I can barely explain. And yet he is every bit a child, endlessly fascinated with the world and so eager to ask questions about it. He is gentle but stubborn. He likes animals -- even dogs -- and he has probably never met a tart he did not enjoy.
