[ she of course realises something is wrong immediately. natasha is far too aware of her surroundings to not notice suddenly being a foot higher off the ground, and the whole thing reeks of something Not Very Good to be honest. she's already spent about an hour gazing into a reflective surface, trying to reconcile herself with the drastic change in image, but frankly no amount of rational squinting will make this feel comfortable. she's spent her whole life creeping in the shadows, slipping around unnoticed -- and captain freaking america's dorito body is the farthest from that possible.

it's going to take some getting used to. anyway.

once she's done staring away as though that will make her reflection any easier to swallow, the next step is to find steve. she manages to only slam her shoulder into an object once, her spatial awareness not quite good enough to account for these new proportions just yet, but even once is too many. for someone who hasn't as much as stubbed a toe in decades, this is...a rough process, to say the least. ]

[So let's say these two live relatively close by, pretty much exactly Holly Heights type situation except Natsuru's not chronologically older or married. They've probably visited each other's houses, maybe Kanbaru's helped with some heavy lifting. So this morning, when Natsuru wakes up in a different room than she slept in, she doesn't completely freak out until she realizes she's definitely not in her own body.

Cue a panicked text to Kanbaru (actually to Natsuru's own phone)...]
