Secret Sweetness
 No one would peg you as a "nice" person because, really, you're not. To most, you're prickly, and that's probably putting it mildly. Except in one case. One special person has you wrapped around their little finger. Whether you try to hide it or go all out, around them, you're a total goober. Do they know how you feel about them? Do you? Doesn't matter. You're still showing them a side you never had before, and all the sugar normal people spread around you pour on one, solitary person. You'll do anything to make them happy; they may not realize it, but you'd do exactly as they ask.

[The young man made a small whining sound in the back of his throat, his cheeks burning in embarrassment at all of this attention. He fidgeted half-heartedly-- mostly just for the show of it. As annoying as being fussed over for his looks was, Waver found that he didn't mind it nearly as much as he complained about it.]
...I did, [he said, finally. Then, in a softer voice:] It smells nice.

[Shougo pauses, before moving the hand in Waver's hair down to lightly hold the smaller boy's chin instead. He tilts the teen's head upward and leans downward to press own face lightly into that head of hair; inhaling deeply through his nose.]
Wow... somehow, it smells even sweeter on you than it did in the bottle...

Waver does pull back this time, just enough to duck and get far enough away to breath.]
A-anyway! [He looked in the opposite direction as he stammered, staring blindly at the adjacent wall rather than at the rest of the students who were still paying rapt attention to the scene unfolding before them.] We've still got time before the bell rings, and I have my notes from our chemistry class the other day. If you still wanted help with your stoichiometry homework, we can finish our lunch in the science lab...

[But, at least Waver didn't tell him to go away!] Oh yeah...
That sounds good. Thanks a lot! [And maybe Shougo can pick up where he left off once they're there...]
[He turns casually to go walk in the lab's direction; oblivious to the judgmental stares and murmurs of others as they move. Most people should be fairly used to his behavior by now, though apparently that doesn't make them any less weirded out by his latest "fascination" with the smaller student. Maybe in part due to just how long the infatuation is lasting. In the past, his whims tended to drift between various girls' hair a lot more often; unlike these days, where his attention seems to be focused on this single guy's hair for much longer than usual... for some odd reason?]

It's no problem, [he said quietly, trailing along after the taller student in an unconscious attempt to disappear into his shadow and away from the judging eyes of the rest of the student body.] It's nothing, really. I just don't want keep seeing you have trouble on your tests, that's all.
[Waver also hadn't expected Shougo's interest to continue for so long. After spending so much of his academic career in this school hiding in the corners of the library and scaring away potential friends with his mouth, this was one connection that he was loathe to lose.]

[Casually, as they approach the science lab's entrance-] That's another thing I really like about you.
[He opens the door and politely gestures for the smaller male to go ahead of him...]

[The grin is met with a pout.]
Don't look too much into it, [he grumbled, hurrying through the door as if he were desperate for the safety of the quiet room.] I've got the best grades in the class-- our teacher would have me tutoring you anyway. This is just to save everyone some time.
[Idiot.]

Ohh... Is that it? [Shougo blinks at Waver's explanation, before nodding.] Mm, I guess that makes sense.
[He enters the room as well and closes the door behind them. As the smaller male moves ahead, Shougo steps forward to reach out and grab hold of Waver again; pulling him in closely from behind.] -Ah, but still... I'm glad!
All of this extra time together means I get to pet my angel's beautiful hair some more! ♥ [Running his fingers through the shorter teen's hair again, he smiles contently.] It should be fine since we're alone now, right~?
Oh, we can still finish this~
Uhm. Well...yeah.
[He stilled, letting the other student continue playing with his hair, face burning once again at level of affection in the gesture and the proximity between them He could almost feel the other student's laughter.
...and, it wasn't all that bad.]
