OTHERWORDLY.

Otherwordly Meme

Sometimes all you need is a word to spark off an idea.

1. Post a comment with your character's name, canon, and any preferences you may have (no shipping, no smut, etc.)

2. Leave the comment blank or post a word or two in the body.

It may also help if you list scenarios you would like to play.

3. Reply to other people, either with words you picked out, or words they posted as prompts for a thread.

Famulus knew better than to make light of her King's unease, but she hardly refrained from that behavior and wouldn't start now. Of course she would measure the situation, see what mood he was in before doing such.

"My Lord."

She did, however, strive to not be any more formal than he wanted, but that was much more difficult. Famulus had learned to give respect where it was warranted, and the young King deserved that and more.

"I don't believe you'd be found out if you slipped away for the evening."

It was a harmless suggestion, as the night was coming to a close, but she'd not press the issue.

Being noticed by the staff, at least, comes with less nerves than the potential of having been noticed by a foreign dignitary. It still gets a bit of a sheepish look from the young king, but it's followed almost immediately by a warm look of genuine relief.

"--you don't? Are you certain?"

He's still learning this particular dance, after all. It had been one thing when he was a prince, but it's become something entirely new now that the proper crown is resting on his head.
