It's all about characters getting comfortable with each other while being total goobers and showing love. It's shameless, sure, but it's fun! [He's not a delinquent. Just because he wears a leather jacket and gets into fights doesn't mean he's a criminal. Orihime's been pretty stubborn about this when her friends bring it up at school. As for his father...well, she kind of knows firsthand that bad parents don't necessarily have bad children.]

The waitress, at the end of her shift, brings Orihime some oolong tea and egg flower soup to start, indicating that someone else would be with her shortly to get her order. Orihime's not in a rush, she explains with a happy grin, setting aside her wet rainjacket and digging her textbooks out of her schoolbag. English seems like her best bet, since she doesn't need to concentrate very hard to read the assigned chapters of their book. Flipping to chapter 21, Orihime holds her book open with one hand while spooning up soup with the other.]

[Transferring to a new school is just as scary as all the television specials make it out to be. Or...maybe that's just because she's transferring to a school where people have amazing powers and abilities meant to fight the evil threatening mankind.]
