Bucky wasn't claustrophobic, exactly, but he didn't like enclosed spaces for long, especially enclosed spaces made of metal. Which was why he tensed a little at that first jolt and flicker of the power.

It was also why he took a deep breath to steady himself once the elevator had ground to a halt, releasing it again just as slowly, practically having to force himself to stay still. He did, however, pull out his phone so he could text Steve to let him know he was going to be late, but of course there was no signal, "Great."
