The Calm You Down Smut Meme

You're about to go off the rails. No, no "about," actually. You've left that train track fair behind, and you're crazy. Rage fills every inch of you, and there's no doubt you're about to do something dangerous, stupid, or reckless. Or all three. There's only one person who can calm you down: your lover. They have tried everything they know to get those thoughts from your heard. Everything except for this... Now, they're using physical intimacy to remind you what really matters, which is the two of you. Surely, this will bring you back, letting the anger ebb out and you'll be able to think straight again, even if your lover was the actual cause of all this mess. Won't it? Natasha thrashed around on the bed, clearly caught up in whatever hell she had experienced. It was most likely the red room, and seeing Bucky again, certainly hadn't helped that at all. It had been a long time since DC, but the events still left a bad taste in her mouth.

She felt the ties at her wrists tighten, and she continued to thrash around until she woke up screaming until her voice was raw.

Bucky wakes up and takes a breath and looks over at Steve seeing the man fighting in his sleep, saying his name.

He bites his lip for a moment and puts a gentle hand on Steve's shoulder but not holding him down. "Steve wake up... It's a bad dream." He murmurs.

The good thing about the TARDIS is that she always knew when something was wrong, and when the Doctor needed her to take care of a situation for him. And right now, there was a situation, and the Doctor needed someone to take care of it and him.

There was no chance at all that the Doctor was going to stay in the general area of Captain Adelaide Brooke's house, simply because he had no business being there, but also because there was the question of why he'd ever want to. A woman had died there to set right things that he had done, and if he stayed, he'd just be confronted with those stark reminders every time he turned a corner. And to make matters worse, if the warnings could be believed, his death was not far away. No, he was not going to stay and face that, so he went inside the TARDIS, turned some dials and pulled other levers, and took himself away from that place that would be burned in his thoughts from then on.

The TARDIS knew what to do when the Doctor was in a moods like this one, so when he flopped into the captain's chair, there wasn't any question of what was needed. Not long after, the TARDIS materialized inside what appeared to be someone's walk-in closet. Of all places to wind up, the Doctor thought as he fumbled with the TARDIS doors and all but lurched out onto the carpeted floor. What exactly was he going to do now? This was clearly someone's home, and he'd just landed in it without so much as a by-your-leave.

Granted, it wasn't the first time something like this had happened, and in all honesty, the Doctor didn't very much care. He'd wanted to run from the doom that was looming over him, and if this was just the first part of his running away, then it was enough for now. If he was thrown out of the house, then that was what happened.

Fast forward to about thirty-five minutes later, and the Doctor and the house's owner were lying on the bed, but neither of them appeared to be particularly restful. At least, the Doctor didn't; he seemed to be all tension and agitation, with a little confusion at how quickly matters had progressed to reach this point thrown in for good measure. But mostly, he was tense and nervous, and having another man there next to him just looking at him wasn't doing very much to calm his agitated state.

[ nikkari would never consider himself to be the best option when it comes to providing comfort. he supposes it's only normal, for a sword whose blade has tasted the blood of a child before, and who has carried its namesake for centuries. rei's emotion isn't something that's entirely out of the norm, either; he's seen the other reeling from euphoria and exertion after winning a match, seen him agonize over the smallest details that anyone else would deem unimportant. this, though...

simply asking him if there was something wrong didn't seem to help, and it had forced nikkari to raise from his seat, fold the book he was reading over the armrest and raise a brow, curiously. he's made of steel and forged iron at his core -- this isn't supposed to be his strong point, and it probably shows in the way that he almost seems to find the situation amusing, on some level. ]
