[It started with a photo, tossed at him with a smile that instantly had Jackson on edge. There was nothing sinister about the picture itself. It was only when he straightened it to get a proper look, that he realized what their 'friendly' dinner was actually about. He recognized the face in the picture but that wasn't what shocked him. It was the fact there was a photo at all. He had tried not to react one way or the other but his silence seemed to serve as an answer, even when he pushed the photo back and asked who the guy in the photo was.

He'd been careful. Or thought he'd been. Only Dressler could casually destroy whatever illusion of safety Jackson thought he had with a picture of someone he didn't think he even liked half the time.

The picture had a date and a location on the back. In the end, Jackson only had the one option.

A week later, Jackson finds himself a few countries away. He knows how the agency operates and goes down through a list of hotels and safe houses he's stayed in. Searching without the usual resources takes the better part of a week.

He lucks out on the third safe house.

It's still intact, unlike the first two. He bypasses the security easily enough, though that's mostly because Danny clearly hadn't bothered to change them. He checks the kitchen out of habit. On the fridge is a child's sunny drawing, dated more than a month ago -- Danny had been here recently, no trouble.

The only difference Jackson can find is his combination of the weapons locker, hidden in the pantry, doesn't work anymore.]

[He sweeps the place for weapons, leaving the guns in place but leaving the chambers empty. He has a nice collection of clips by the time he finds a duffle bag in the main bedroom. When he checks, it obviously belongs to Stilinski. Who else would own, let alone bring, a Batman t-shirt on a mission? He dumps his own bag in the guest room across the hall and returns downstairs, throwing the clips into a cereal box in the pantry.

It's late. Might as well get started on dinner.
