Comment with your character, preferences, preferred role, and any information you'd like to include.
Your character has either been injured/sick and had to be taken in (possibly against their will) or has been the one to help somebody like the former. Through the mending process, the two characters in a thread have fallen in love - or at least grown closer and more affection.
You really have to stop doing this to yourself, sugar.
[Cherry keeps her eyes down, shaking her head as she starts to clean up the wounds on Murphy's chest, her gun removed and placed in the corner of the room so she can get closer without the gun getting in the way.]
I'm not a fucking nurse, you know. Sooner or later you're gonna get a bad infection.
[She glances up then, catching his eye, before focusing on the knife wound, rolling her eyes slightly before getting thread and needle ready to stitch up one bad wound.]
[ooc: Doc was made for this one. Chronic TB but with medical experience as well. Not that anyone would pick smutty times with Doc but he's m/f preference.]
[ooc: do you want to try figuring out what we talked about in the other thread (jack finding joseph, etcetc) a shot or do you want to go with something a little less emotionally fraught first. more like one of those times jack was himself around joseph. :) in which case it could be either of them that's hurt/ill]
[He's a doctor so the caretaker role is most likely, but he's also prone to failing to take care of himself or pissing off folk who may want to slug him and generally getting into trouble if you want to be the caretaker. Feel free to ask me to start.]
carl grimes • the walking dead • m/m for shipping, no smut
[Could be either role, and can patch people up quicker with magic, but it doesn't fix everything. He's in sorcery battles often enough to get hurt, and also lost half a leg in WWI if somebody wants historical play in that era.]
[Mind if I jump in? Eleri is a witch cursed to go from one dimension to the other without ever stopping for long, making a life as a wandering bard and herbalist. Would love for her to patch him up, but can also go as the one getting treated if you'd prefer it.]
[So. Another day, another monster - and, of course, a bystander (in this case Len) had gotten into the scuffle. Luckily said day had been won without serious damage to anyone, although this kid here'd gotten roughed a bit in the process.]
[That...was a little while ago, actually. Most of his injuries were minor, but he'd really twisted his ankle back there; it had been a few days and it still wasn't fit to walk on.]
[It was fortunate that someone had been kind enough to look after him...]
[You'll never believe which stray dumpster cat is crawling through your window again, Claire.
It wasn't a bad night, but calling it anything remotely close to stellar is a stretch, even for his silver tongue. Matt slides the weighted window up on its tracks, careful to maneuver the hardwood floors - blood stains, he knows, even if he can't sense anything but its heat and smell, and he ruined three previous rugs - and make his way into the kitchen.
She is there, in another room.
The steam curling through the air and the smell of off-brand shampoo from the drugstore down the road suggests a post-shift shower, the work of which he apparently intends to ruin as red seeps down his sleeve and drips on the linoleum.
