So you need a vacation. The weather's nice, so why not hit the beach?



So here are the rules:

1. Comment with your character and put their name and canon in the subject line.
2. Do beach stuff with whoever threads with you. Go tanning. Collect seashells. Have a picnic. Swim. Surf. Visit the little resort. Get stranded at sea in a canoe. Day or night. Do your own thing.
3. There is no need for RNG here, just have fun. :)

[ There was an odd smell in his city today, with the spring finally edging itself to proper beach weather. An odd smell that was feline enough for the King of Cats to investigate, so he did. Inconspicuously, for most.

So there he was, a tabby cat walking daintily, confidently along the beach. Then picking a spot in the sunlight, somewhat away from the water, to sprawl comfortably...

Only his eyes did seem rather focused on the blond reading through a set of documents in the fresh breeze. Tybalt was rather certain that the scent came from this man, and he wanted to know. Whether the newcomer would meddle with affairs that he maybe should not.

And whether he should end up brokering some sort of agreement between him and October. Out of curiosity, of course, nothing more.

For now, he just watched and listened. ]

All that matters is that there are people everywhere It's like being at a mall, but even more condensed. People talking, people laughing, people trying and failing to partake in various ocean sports. They pass by one exceptionally dirty looking man dressed like the hobos who pan handled on the streets of Gotham in the summer (because none of them dressed like that in the winter) and Damian wrinkles his nose in disgust.]

This can't possibly be sanitary.

[ It's entirely possible that Tybalt, king of cats, was overdressed for the beach, in tight leather pants, a fine shirt, and a brown leather jacket, but he wasn't bothered by the warmth, and his boots were tucked comfortably in one hand as he strolled barefoot along the sand. Maybe he was a little away from his usual hunting grounds (and, yes, he had paid Court to the local Queen of Cats), but it was necessary. He had a couple of errands, one personal and one not so much.

Neither of them could be taken care of until later in the afternoon, so he decided to explore the famed Santa Cruz Beach... some ways off the Boardwalk, that was too noisy for his taste right now. Just wandering, somewhat away from the water.

And then he spotted a familiar face, smiling slightly. One of his errands might be fulfilled sooner than expected - but then again, why rush? They were likely both here for leisure, after all. Tybalt wandered over to the blond, a smirk on his face. ]

Jesse. A favorite spot, I imagine.

[ Cyrus isn't normally one to take days off. But in the effort to console his fellow peers he will unwillingly go to the beach for a few days of "relaxation". He doesn't know this term of relax as his life up until now has been a series of shitty, stressful situations. But okay. Beaches...what does he even do with you.

Sand in his robotic joints is annoying him and it's so easy to tell because he is just frowning SO HARD. So yeah. Have a dude with half robotic limbs just...looking displeased as he tries to keep out of the sun and retires to the shade instead. Mr. Grumpypants over here to ruin your fun. ]

fuuka is by far the least out-doorsy person of SEES, but yukari said they were going to the beach courtesy of mitsuru and well, how can she refuse? staying at the dorm by herself would be rude and the last thing she wants is to offend mitsuru, so.

here she is, standing ankle-deep in the water with her flip flops in one hand, watching tiny fish swimming around her toes. it's sunny and bright, but it's just her and the rest of the SEES around; maybe it's okay to relax just for a little while. ]
